Just down the block from Southside Market, which has all of your basic grocery needs (and a great selection of local beer), and a few blocks from UAB, Saws BBQ, the Alys Stephens Center, and Dreamland BBQ. A block away you'll find Glen Iris Park, Birmingham's first planned community, with a mix of homes of various styles, and a beautiful walking trail through it all. Traveling with pets or kids? Head to George Ward Park, our favorite park in Birmingham, with two separate dog parks, an assortment of sporting fields and tennis courts, a planned frisbee golf course, and plenty of paths and shade.
