Stunning apartment in a great location

The location was perfect-steps away from city centre and the riverfront. Our hostess, Daniela(sp?), was very accommodating and responsive to our messages/texts. She was extremely helpful in telling us about what to do and see while in Porto as well as how to get around. The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet; surprisingly so given that there was construction going on across the alley from our windows and we were in the middle of a high traffic (foot and auto) thoroughfare.
This is by no means a dislike but rather an FYI. There are no lifts in the facility. You will need to use the somewhat narrow and steep s
tairs to get to your room. We were on the second floor and climbed about 45 steps to get to our flat. It was a tad challenging, not overly so, and Daniela was willing to help us take our bags up.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, nice design choices. It was very close to many restaurants, shops and transportation options.
Bed mattresses were a little too firm, and there was a lack of furnishings in the bedrooms (in need of chairs, dressers, trash receptacles…)
