Located in Salt Lake in a private park-side community just 10 minutes to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons winter resorts, summer mountain hiking, outdoor sports and trails. One of 6 homes available to rent. Rent as many homes as your group needs and save. Welcome to Union Meadows - This home has incredible flexibility for any group accommodation for family reunions, convention groups, travel groups, ski groups, large families, Young Living and doTERRA groups, corporate housing, temporary relocation housing, traveling executives, displaced families, and people in-between homes. You'll love this private park-side location walking distance to restaurants, shops, and a city park with ball fields and pavilion. Enjoy world famous skiing at nearby Cottonwood Resorts (Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude). Convenient access to freeway to downtown Salt Lake. Available year round. This home is pet-friendly, with a $100 fee. If you are planning on bringing a furry friend, please make the appropriate selection at check-out or inform us directly so that we may update your reservation accordingly. Failure to notify us may result in a fine of $500. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. We found the property to be dangerous and unprofessional. Multiple safety issues and prior to check in, I had to sign multiple documents and send a picture of my drivers license.
1. The backyard is not private. There is a 10 foot gap in the fence and opens up directly where the hot tub is. The hot tub and whoever is in it can be seen from the street making it uncomfortable.
2. The decking the hot tub is on is beyond disrepair. We ultimately decided against using the hot tub because of how unstable the deck was. We specifically chose this property because of the hot tub and didn't feel safe using it. I have a video of myself walking across the decking that demonstrates how unstable the decking is.
3. The backyard "landscaping" was gross and dirty.
4. The upstairs railing had a very DIY "fix" and was absolutely not safe. There were small boards drilled into the wall to keep the railing from wiggling but it was still quite loose.
5. The basement was intended as a fun hang out...? The unfinished walls with wires hanging everywhere and fiberglass insulation popping out was terrible. I'm beyond grateful this trip was not with my children. There was insulation laying on the ground and poking out of the framing. I would never allow my children to go to the basement. We didn't spend anytime down there because of those issues.
6. There was not a broom provided. Not a deal breaker but very annoying.
I tried reaching out to the property managers but never heard back.

This home is spacious, open, and inviting. Three levels for you and your friends and family to enjoy. The master bedroom is gorgeous!!!! YES that’s the room I stayed in. To be honest if I was ever to go back to Utah in vacation this is the property I will stay at 100%.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was so close to food, fun and mountains. I was not impressed with the backyard at all, we wanted to enjoy our mornings in the cool mountain air and the patio and chairs were filthy and around the hot tub was a big mess. We didn't even get to enjoy the hot tub.

Nice large home for 2 families with kids. Approx 30 min drive to any of the ski resorts. Nice hot tub and added bonus of the basement with pool table, ping pong, and Xbox. We stay again for a place on this area.

Our family of 6 stayed at this rental for Christmas and had a great time. It was in a good location, offered all the amenities we needed and was very clean. The driveway was a little tight for 2 cars, but we managed fine.

Excellent location to ski slopes! Unit was clean. Only suggestion is maybe including a few of these items: rice cooker, bigger serving dishes, and maybe having an air fryer. Other than that, we had a great time staying here!!

but a few things
- the water heater was off when we first checked in
- the water temperature of the hot tub can only turn up to 104 degree which is impossible to use it outdoor while it’s snowing
- there were stains on the pillows and hairs on the master bed

The unfinished basement scared my younger kids. Haha. But there was still plenty of room for us all to spread out after a long day of sledding! Great layout for a family. I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the master suite while my kids watched football by the fireplace.

We had to be flexible with space and this was perfect. The basement with a blank slate and large living room space made it very accommodating.
The kitchen was easy to use with all the equipment we needed.
The park nearby was also helpful for a space to stretch the legs and overflow parking. Recommend.

Great location, plenty of space and can sleep a whole bunch!
We were happy with all the space, the pool and ping pong downstairs and hot tub. The outdoor space around the hot tub needs some work - no grass, even gravel would be better than dirt. Also, its pretty hot upstairs, bring a fan! and the fridge isn't very cold.

We had a short, sweet vacation. We enjoyed the home. Intended to use the hot tub but the weather was too warm. Found one fan and brought one but sleeping was still warmer than we like. Wish the bedroom windows had screens.

Family Vacation
This was a great place to rent and take the family hiking in the Little Cottonwood Canyon and Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Huge house!
The home is located in a very nice/quiet neighborhood. The check in process was really easy. There was lots of room for myself and the guys. The place was very clean and had all the necessities. The hot tub was a nice add on. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Property
We loved staying at this location. The neighborhood was quiet, the location was close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores, fast to get on the freeway (but not too close!). The property description was accurate and it was nice they included so many air mattresses, rolling beds, and even a porta-crib so that we could shuffle people around as needed. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and it worked perfect for 4 adults and 4 children. The kids stayed in the basement while playing pool, table tennis, and video games.
Some things that need to be fixed are: there was some kind of sewage smell in the master bathroom that was minimized by putting a rag over the tub drain? When we ran out of propane there was no broiler pan to finish cooking our steaks so we had to finish them in some cake pans. They did bring us an new propane tank the next day, however. The powder room toilet seat was loose. Mostly we had a good time in the house and it was a nice stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was convenient to the ski areas. The management company did a good job communicating the instructions regarding getting to the house and opening the door after a long travel day.

This condo is very roomy and exactly as pictured in the posting. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the basement game room (which is unfinished if it's not clear in the post). The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large pantry for food storage. Parking was fine for us as our one large SUV fit in the garage but the driveway is very small if you have more cars and street parking is not allowed. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Everything was very clean. Ski resorts were an easy ~30 min drive each day. Only complaints are that there were several light bulbs out with no replacements and the vent fan/light over the stove did not work.

But as soon as we got a hold of them they send us the combination. There is no slat/pepper/cooking oil etc, so bring your own if you want to cook. The hot tub was cold the first night so don’t get excited. Everything else was fine

This home was the perfect size for a small group of friends. Tons of family fun!
Our family spent a week here in this lovely rental. It was clean and large. We really enjoyed the pool and ping pong table and the jacuzzi. The living area is big but realize that for sleeping, only 8 can sleep on beds. The rest would be sleeping on pullout couches and roll away beds.
