Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Serenity managed by Benchmark and it wasn't a great experience. The home and location were perfect but we had several issues arise during our stay that was never addressed or taken care of. The pool was never cleaned the whole time we were there and there was no pool net for us to clean the pool. I reached out to Benchmark and it took them days to respond I got a generic response when they finally responded. The wifi in the home never worked and the service in the home was horrible. We reached out the first day regarding that and we never had someone come out and correct the issue. It took them days to respond once again and they told us to just unplug it and plug it back into the. Which we tried before even considering them. We had a federal agent in our group and he had zero access to any of his work within the home. I understand it's a heavy travel time with Spring Break, but good customer service goes a long way and no resolution to any of the issues is not acceptable. We will not be staying at another Benchmark Property due to these issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly it wasn’t that great. There were many issues that no one gave me a heads up on prior to the visit which was frustrating. The pool lights didn’t work and I had to deal with workers on three different days, the outdoor shower didn’t work which was a HUGE pain coming back from the beach each day and no one told us that was shut off, there were bugs in the house, the master bedroom TV volume just didn’t work at all. I had to call you guys three different times to have these things addressed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is nice, the kitchen is stocked nicely , decent furnishings, fairly clean and spacious enough for our family of 9. The decks on the front of the house are in need of repair. The floor boards were very weathered and splintery and had numerous rusty nails popping up especially on the main deck. Wear sandals out there for sure. The pool and pool deck were nice and had nice furniture around it but it was very dirty and the water wasn’t just warm, it was hot!! Not refreshing whatsoever. I don’t know how you’d correct that with the Florida heat but it was barely used which the kids were looking forward to most of all. There was a lot of debris in the bottom and the pump must’ve been clogged because after the pool guy came on our last day, it was working again. One morning we woke up to find a dead snake in the bottom. I called Benchmark and they sent someone out to retrieve it within a few hours. Lastly, the walk to the beach was not at all easy! My 80 year old mom could not do it. Had we known the distance, we would’ve rented a house closer to the beach. There was no easy access. You either had to walk across a very long boardwalk with steps throughout (which when pulling a wagon of chairs, umbrellas and other beach supplies it just was not conducive.) The other direction was quite a hike to the end of the road we were on to get to a public beach access. To end on a positive note, the view from the upper deck was very pretty minus the chain link fence going around the property that would’ve given us a MUCH SHORTER trek to the beach! I would not stay in this house again but we did LOVE staying in Inlet Beach!! It was a gorgeous, quiet beach and very family oriented.

Serenity at Inlet Beach, disappointing
Serenity at Inlet Beach, disappointing
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photos of this home in the surrounding area are years old. There is ongoing construction all around the home, including next door. The photos of the views from the balconies are very old because there are several more houses in between the house and the beach now. The house is advertised having beach access 1/10 of a mile to the west, 1/10 of a mile to the west are private homes. You actually have to walk 1/10 of a mile to the east to get to a boardwalk then .15 miles up and down stairs to get to the beach, making the beach a quarter of a mile from the home. Had I known about the construction and the distance to the actual beach I would have never rented this home. No one has been in this home for several weeks and it showed (plenty of dead bugs to be cleaned up) and the pool needed cleaning.
