My husband and I had a weekend getaway and we were excited to try out this location. Here is our takeaway with our positives and negatives of our stay. Positives: It is a quiet location not far from the highway, which we hardly ever heard. Access to and from the highway is easy and there are places to shop and eat nearby. We enjoyed the uniqueness of the natural pool and how it was lit up for night swims. We loved that the unit comes with a private fire fit and hot tub. We stayed in the Country Cottage so ours was on the back deck. We did notice that some cabins had decks that were screened in. Ours was not but we did not have any issues with bugs. The cabin was clean and cutely decorated. Just the right size for two people. Negatives: the biggest issue we had with our cabin was the overuse of fragrance items. The moment we walked in, the thick smell invaded us. Sensetivity to fragrance was not a thought for this cabin. We found two fragrance plug ins that we had to unplug and open doors to try and get some fresh air in. We also found out the trash bags were fragranced. I dealt with headaches both nights we stayed and my husband started having sinus problems the second day in. Our cabin did not have nightstands. There is not a lot of room but a couple small tables would be nice. My husband wears a CPAP and we had to make a stand for his side of the bed. A second luggage stand would also be helpful. The wardrobe is too narrow to really use. Overall, we would stay again.

Loved the property, the swimming pond was beautiful, day or night. Lodging had wonderful porch overlooking the waterfalls. So serene, relaxing and rejuvenating. Wish we could have stayed longer. Housekeeping was especially helpful when we drank through the coffee!! Such great care for our comfort. Hope to return some day.

This place is amazing and so peaceful! The check in process is so simple and our cabin was perfect. The pool was our favorite part and we will definitely be back!

Country Cottage was very cute and cozy! The rest of the grounds were beautiful too. It is definitely tucked away which adds to the peace you will find there but have to drive for meals or activities. The owners were great, quick and easy communication. Would definitely recommend for a getaway!

The Pool is beautiful.

The area and location of the cottage is perfect. Not to close and not to far away from things. The hot tub was fantastic. The cottage is absolutely amazing, very well decorated.

This was our first trip to Branson and it’s a busy place! This cottage is close but also out of the way so you don’t have to worry about traffic or tons of people! It’s perfect! 10/10 will stay again!

My parents stayed here for their 40th anniversary and said they had a wonderful time. My dads only complaint was “They only had your kind of TV, not regular TV” AKA they had a Roku TV instead of local channels. Haha all and all they had a good getaway though.

This was the perfect little getaway cabin for our mom and dad trip. The hot tub and fire pit on the deck were amazing! Exactly as described in the listing. We did not get in the pool but did walk around it and it was very neat. This place is peaceful and relaxing.

We liked the size for just the two of us. Hot tub and fire pit were nice. Property owner was extremely responsive and helpful when a very small issue occurred.

It was beautiful, close to the heart of Branson, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! It was a great way to ring in the new year!

We loved the secluded location. It was nice to be able to be within driving distance of all the “fun” Branson has to offer, but also wonderful to be able to drive a short distance and feel like you are in the woods! The hot tub was wonderful! We liked the privacy the porch area provided and of having our own hot tub right out the door. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around and checking out the ponds!

Sometimes the reality of a rental property doesn't meet the expectation. This is not the case with the Sunset Hills cottages! The cabin and grounds were such a perfect spot to relax with my partner for a couple nights. We will be back in the summer for sure!
