The good: 1) Great location for skiing, so close to Heavenly and we'll situated for drives to Kirkwood, Palisades Tahoe and Northstar. 2) Leo is extremely responsive to any issues you may encounter. He solved the few issues we had very quickly. 3) Never made it to the hot tub but everything else worked fine. 4). Gas fireplace is nice to sit around after a day of skiing. Also good for drying gloves! The not as good: 1) Read the listing carefully - sleeps six but two of the six will be on (very comfortable) air mattresses that take up bedroom floor space. 2) Could use a couple more chairs around the dining table - there were only four of them. 3). The property is a little '"tired". Large somewhat uncomfortable sectional couch was in a small space. There were some dark spots in the shower grout. The lighting had some bolts out creating a fairly dark main level. The other: 1) Stones in the upstairs bathroom sink? Interesting decor choice😊. 2). Be ready for two long flights of stairs to the front door after your long day of skiing! All things considered we had a good stay and the value seemed appropriate for the time of year and location. There is 1 old TV in the unit with no service besides Netflix and it is stuck in a corner at an odd angle - not really viewable. The hot tub is set at 104 (cold) with a lock - it is too cold to be enjoyable. The couch in the living room has outlived its usefulness, is dated and extremely uncomfortable.

Leo's dacha is perfectly located for a Heavenly ski trip. The Boulder base area is a short drive (5 mins or less) from this property. Restaurants, shops and casinos are just a short trip down the mountain.

The hot tub was ready and hot when we arrived. The property was exactly what I was looking for and it absolutely met our expectations. Perfect little spot, we will absolutely return next time we go skiing at Heavenly.

We really enjoyed the space and the close proximity to Heavenly. The private hot tub was great and when there was an issue Leo had the maintenance team within the day to get it fixed. Overall great experience. FYI there is no central heat upstairs but they provide space heaters which work perfectly.
