We are excited to offer this wonderful "home away from home" to you, for your next vacation to Cotter! The home sits right next to our town's famous fly shop, and a stone's throw away from the café, as well as a short walk to the Historic Cotter Spring, Park, and White River! Come in to relax and you might just fall in love, like so many others have! Cotter’s history was centered upon the Railroad which once included the Roundhouse and many other industries that utilized the nearby White River to service their customers. This home was built in the mid 1900's and received a full and excellent renovation by the previous owners. Every detail was thought of as the transformation was under way and the home that is now available to you is truly fabulous! There is plenty of boat parking and our space even includes full hookups for an RV next to the home (additional $35 per day charge for the use of this amenity). The outdoor fire pit, BBQ, and picnic table gives you plenty of space outside to relax and unwind after a day on the river! The Linens for the pull out sofa can be given to the guests that request them. The fee will be $25 per day and is assessed as the additional guest charge. The Linen box also includes additional towels. pillows and everything else needed for the additional guests. After transitioning from a career in the U.S. Army, my wife and I found our way back home to the community that loved and supported us for so many years and we have continued to try to find ways to showcase our town and add life and value back into this one of a kind place! We respect our guest’s privacy and will only be involved if requested, however, we are always nearby and can give you recommendations as to dining, sight-seeing, shopping, or help you if you have forgotten something that could make your stay perfect! Cotter offers many activities for all sorts of lifestyles! The White River (1/2 mile from our front door) boasts year-round, world-class trout fishing, while the nearby Buffalo River offers small mouth fishing as well as other great species. The Big Spring Park in Cotter offers walking and biking trails, a beautiful spring with a large rope swing where the heat of summer can be melted away by one quick leap! The Bull Shoals Lake offers world-class fishing and some of the most majestic views of the Ozarks that many photographers come from all over to capture! Norfolk Lake offers similar amenities as the Bull Shoals. If fishing or outdoors is not your niche, worry not! The Twin Lakes area offers two movie theatres, an entertainment district in the heart of Mountain Home, a plethora of antique shops, fine dining, and excellent shopping! We have enjoyed renovating #PotterBlock and bringing new life to a truly wonderful town. The nearby Baxter County Regional Airport (KBPK) allows you to fly-in for a quick trip and rental vehicles can be arranged very easily. Getting around and finding all the sights is simple with the main road (HWY 412) that runs East to West and can get you anywhere in a matter of minutes.
