Perfect base for our family's little getaway to Cape May. Very quiet neighborhood and just steps to the beach. We brought our dogs and the fenced yard made for lots of romping and fun. Just a short drive to everything we wanted to do.. We would stay again.

This was the perfect pet-friendly get-away! The kitchen was well stocked even though we brought things. So nice that we didn't need to bring all of the linens for the beds. The backyard was perfect for the dogs. A short hop the the bayside beach. Suzy was so involved in this whole trip and our comfort that it made the stay a breeze. I would definitely come back again and encourage others to take advantage of this wonderful place!

A few friends and I rented this property for a canoe paddling vacation, and it was perfect for us. Such a great luxury to be able to bring our pets! The beach is just a block away and generally peaceful and uncrowded. My dog thoroughly enjoyed running along the sand and chasing the occasional duck or sand piper. There is a hose in the front yard for rinsing off sandy puppies and people, and the back yard is enclosed with a fence. The house itself was clean when we arrived and large for the price, with two smaller bedrooms and one master bedroom with an ensuite bath. Everything you need for a home base to explore Cape May, which is a short 15 minute drive away, at a fraction of the cost of staying in town. Suzy, the owner, was very nice and accommodating of all our needs and questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Space was great for us. We had space from our kids since the MBR and bath were on one side and the 2nd bath and other 2 bedrooms were on the other. My adult children stayed up past us and we didn’t hear a thing which was excellent! Lol The distance to the bay beach was just as described. We fished, walked the dogs and had a relaxing time. We were close to anywhere we wanted to visit but still had the quiet neighborhood to come back to! * My daughter also commented to me that it was the first time we rented and her mother - me-didn’t want to clean when we first walked in. Very clean space and smelled great for being a pet friendly rental. We loved it. Advice: Bring bug spray if you’re someone that gets bit and want to use the fire pit (humidity brought the mosquitoes), and bring your devices so you can use your tv apps or Apple TV - they had Netflix but once I hooked up or casted to the tv my husband was happy watching the British Open.

Great location! House was clean and welcoming. The backyard needs to be cleaned up. A lot of overgrown shrubs and poison ivy. I did not feel comfortable having my toddler running around in the backyard. Also tv needed more options. We could only watch Netflix and Apple TV was available. Overall we had a good week there!

Overall we enjoyed our stay but there were many problems with the rental property. The outside of the property was very unkept, dead bushes, and very overgrown back yard. The air conditioner couldn't keep up with an extreme hot spell. The coolest we could get the house was 78! The bathroom shower curtain had mold growing on it. Several switch's didn't turn anything on. The kick plate at the bottom of the dishwasher was broken and kept catching our shoes/feet as we walked by. The bathroom sink emptied very slowly. The ice maker was extremely slow to produce ice, so slow that we went out to buy ice. Also the water filter on the refrigerator needed to be replaced. The frying pans (3) were all scratched with a lot of the nonstick coating missing and the cast iron pan looks like it hadn't been washed/cured in ages. The kitchen table was way to large for the tiny nook it was placed in. It had four chairs around it but you could only access two. The recycling bin had no drainage holes so it was filled with rain water when I went to put it be the street for trash day. Bulbs were out on at least two lamps. All in all, a disappointment. Our previous two experiences renting through Verbo had been so good that made this experience even more of a let down.

Cox Hall Creek Wildlife Mgt is an easy walk away. The cottage is about a 20 min drive from the Washington Mall Shops, lots of great seafood, bayside dining and also close to the Cape Point. We were able to spend our time there adventuring not driving. Loved our stay there

The house was cute and in a great location. Close to the beach, Cape May and Wildwood. The house was relatively clean, lots of hand sanitizer around the house, but the hand soap containers in the bathrooms were empty. There was no dishwashing soap and the dishes all needed to be washed before using. We brought our own stuff, always do just in case, but I have never had to use it until this stay. Not a big deal just something the host should be aware of with the cleaning staff. The problem we had was the fact that the entire week we were there we had no internet access. It was never communicated to us that there was a possibility of a problem until we arrived, couldn’t sign on to WI-FI ,couldn’t get the TV to work etc…. I contacted the host who informed us this problem had been going on since at least November 2nd. Apparently the landscaper cut the line. This was an issue as we work from home and had to get work done while we were there. She said we could leave and be refunded!!! Too late, we are already here, and have Thanksgiving and Birthday plans that have been set for a long time. Again, we made it work, but we were thoroughly disappointed in the communication from the host. We should have been informed of the situation prior to coming especially since it had been an unresolved issue for several weeks. It’s unfortunate this happened, and we are sorry the host has been having trouble getting this repaired for so many weeks. All the more reason to communicate with the renters and give them the option to cancel for a full refund and find another location for the trip BEFORE arriving.

The accommodations were exactly as described & Suzy was very responsive with any questions we had. Our first time to this side of Cape May & we will definitely be back.

The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen had utensils, plates, toaster, blender, pots, pans, cleansers, dishwashing pods and more.. The washer and dryer was great to have. There was even a drying rack and some laundry detergent. The back yard was fenced. Great for our dog to run around. Also had a swing set, grill (with gas), chairs and table so we could sit outside. The beach was just 1 block away. Quiet and well maintained neighborhood. The host Suzy was very receptive and answered my email promptly when I had a question. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend.

In the afternoons we went to Cape May beach and loved every experience. We really like the relaxed environment and dog friendliness of Villas. There are lots of ice cream shops nearby so we got ice cream to-go and went down to the beach to watch the spectacular sunsets. The property was clean and perfect for a family of 3 or 4.

The inside was nice with the exception of a few things that need replaced. The kitchen has new appliances and it has a nice washer and dryer. There are no television or streaming channels unless you have your own account. Another TV in the master bedroom would be nice. We had an issue with the air conditioning system not cooling properly to the set temperature but after a couple days it got better, not perfect, with the owner's help. The outside of the home and front & backyard landscaping need a lot of love and work. The backyard is fenced in which is great for the dogs and it has a nice firepit. It needs a better patio area and furniture. We didn't use the grill so I can't review that. The bay is within walking distance, but we preferred the ocean. The property is 20 minutes from Wildwood and 10 minutes from stores. Owner was very helpful.
