Nice peaceful, relaxing location. The road is right there in front of the cottages but traffic is good. My wife is a very light sleeper and she was never disturbed by the cars and bikes (bike week). It is close to Weirs Beach, just over 30 minutes, with several gas stations, small mom and pop stores, restaurants, breakfast places, along with Profile Falls and Inspiration Point (both free), and nearby, along the way. We were there during June bike week. The cottage is just far enough away for quiet nights and close enough to get to the events quickly. It's a little over an hour to the Mt Washington Hotel up north. The views up to there coming from the cottage are second to none. We met a few other cottage visitors, sharing some stories from the screened in porches. One couple told us about the night sky and some planets appearing. The view from the beach area gave us some very starry nights, also from outside the cottage at the firepit.The host, Denise, was very responsive and we received details information about getting to and accessing the cottage.My wife and I a frequent small home weekend travelers around New England and this cottage rates high on our list.

We had a great stay! The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The walk to the lake was super short and the whole place felt peaceful and cozy. Just note that you need to bring your own sheets and towels. Overall, it was quiet, comfortable, and had that perfect cabin vibe. Highly recommended!

The property was well maintained. Everything you could need except for bedding (states bedding is needed in the listing) The interior of the cottage is absolutely adorable. Easy for my mom the get around without her can or walker. She loved the porch, said it was very relaxing. My only complaint was there is no outdoor lights. There was a light on the outside of the porch and right next to the door. They never came on with a switch or without. Other than that perfect for what I needed

People are friendly, parking is competitive, no access to the beach if you are handicapped and access to the cottage is difficult if handicapped. We had a great time, if you are able bodied it is a good place to stay.
