The staff were brilliant especially Mohammed Ali was so friendly and always ready to help. The property is nice and quiet. Walking distance to blue domes and walking distance to nice restaurants near by

It is a beautifully appointed boutique hotel with facilities deserving of more than its 3 stars. The location is quiet, but close enough to Oia, with sunset views from the terraces. We had a very comfortable junior suite near the pool. The restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed tasty fresh food and quality drinks at prices less than the usual for Santorini. Everything was cleaned regularly and the staff went out of their way to assist with any requests. Would definitely highly recommend to future travellers.

I’ve stayed at the amethyst twice now and honestly is such an incredible hotel. The staff are all so lovely, the location is great and the sunsets are better than in Oia! I recommend to anyone looking to go to santorini!!

The hotel is beautiful and well decorated. The pool area is lovely and has some nice sun chairs.
The room really lacked necessities as a hanger for the towel by the sink and more storage for bathroom supplies and things in general. It was very minimalistic. The shower head was very used and almost broken. The view from the jacuzzi in our room was a bit sad as there was a parking lot right out in front. The room is very noisy and it was very loud when other people used water or closed doors. The food was prettier than it tasted and quite pricy compared to the quality. In general our feeling was the the luxury-part was a bit upscale compared to the experience.
