Nestled in Istanbul, this lovely condo for $212 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The perfect location. Ideal for seeing the historic sites, dining, shopping or sight seeing. At the heart of Istiklal Street which is the heart of Taxim - the heart of Istanbul. A spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with sofa bed in the lounge, in a historic building. Renovated and refurbished to the highest standards. The best of the old with all modern conveniences. Central heating, and air conditioning. Modern kitchen and full marble bathrooms, both with walk in showers. The apartment is on the third floor. There is no elevator, but the stairs are wide and there is help available with luggage. Across the Street there is a convenience store, Restaurants, bars and shopping. Down the street there are art and antique shops, a bakery and cafe's. Easy access to all the historic locations, Trams, Metro and Taxi's. Both bedrooms have there own bathrooms with twin sinks and walk in showers. The beds are queen size with new mattresses and high quality linens. Towels are also supplied and are Turkish cotton - what else! A play cot - bassinet is also available for rent should you need it. In the spacious lounge there are 2 sofas. One is a queen size sofa bed for a third couple. The Kitchen has new appliances including dish washer, oven, microwave, fridge etc. There is also a washer dryer for guests to use. Drinking water is supplied from a tower fountain. Come and make my home your home and explore Istanbul. IMPORTANT Due to new regulations introduced in January 2017 all property owners are responsible to provide the local police with Valid ID information on all guests. I therefore need copies of Passport or relevant travel documents, Turkish I.D. Card and a signed copy of the rental agreement for all people staying in the apartment. The dates are available for you but can not be confirme till I am in possession of these documents. Stayed in the Orient Pearl for 4 nights last week. Lovely apartment just off of the main shopping street. Very spacious and would suit 2 couples sharing as the bedrooms each have their own well appointed shower rooms and are at opposite ends of the apartment so great for privacy. Souliman was fantastic carrying our case up the 3 flights of stairs. The apartment is very well equipped. We were tired from all the sight seeing so we got takeaways from the little cafe next door. So relaxing ENJOY

It felt like we got a taste of what it might be like to live in Istanbul. The apartment is steps away from Istiklal Street, which has shops and restaurants that are open until around midnight and gets thousands of visitors each day. Amazingly, you don't hear any of the noise in the bedrooms, so you can easily escape the hubbub when you want to. One warning that the apartment is up three flights of stairs and there is no elevator - not unusual for a historic building, but it can be challenging for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. On a final note, the owner and our contact in Istanbul were both extremely responsive to questions and made sure we were able to get from and to the airport with no problem. There is also an onsite building manager who also sells Turkish tea. We highly recommend stopping for a cup on your way in or out.

This condominium is very well situated right by the very popular Istiklal street full of shops and restaurants it is also very close to Metro stations which is a great way to move in Istanbul, very easy and safe to use. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of an old building with no elevator but they are very willing to help when it comes to handling luggage upstairs, it is also very spacious with updated bathrooms and kitchen and it also comes with a washer machine which is really handy when traveling through Europe. Overall it was a great stay for us at the Orient Pearl, the communication with David to setup our reservation was great, and our local contacts in Istanbul, Ugur and Suleyman were very attentive to our needs and quick to respond when needed, I would definitely choose this property again when visiting Istanbul

My colleague and I loved staying at the Orient Pearl, and would not hesitate to stay again. In the heart of the action, but brilliantly quiet, we were very appreciative of the stellar amenities and comfort.

What a place! Just a few steps from the famous Istiklal Street with all the shops, bars and restaurants. A must see while in Istanbul.
The communication with the host was amazing.
The place itself was clean modern and safe. It had everything we could ask for.
The stairs are a bit of a challenge as they are steep and apartment is on the 3rd floor.
The only issue we had was the noise neighbours upstairs. They seem to do laps back and forth and walk heavily. It went on for hours every day and as late as 2:30 am!!! We asked them to keep quiet but did not make any effort. We also asked our contact to ask them to keep it down, but again they made no effort. I understand that the building is older and sometimes noise travels but the constant walking back and forth was a real issue.
Hopefully the host can address this only issue we had.
I would highly recommend this propriety for location, cleanliness and amenities.

A very neatly maintained apartment in the heart if Taksim area. Closer to all that’s happening. Walking distance to public transportation. Inspire if our late night arrival, the card taker received us with a smile and helped us settle in. The water dispenser is a nice little addition. Plenty of towels and sheets to use.
Highly recommend for solo travelers as well as families.

We loved our stay in this unit. The apartment was equipped with all we needed and the location was great. In the unit it was quiet, good AC, very comfy beds, and excellent black out blinds. The owner was very nice and even brought up free drinking water when we ran out! There are quiet a few stairs (it’s on 4th floor) but we were helped with our luggage.

Like a home
This is my second visit and I would definitely stay again. Coming to Orient Pearl apartment in Istanbul is like coming home. It is a very cosy well equipped and comfortable space.
It is located on the third floor but the stairs are wide and easy to climb. And Suleyman is always there to lend a helping hand with cases or grocery bags.
After A long day of sightseeing and shopping it’s a delight to return back to a peaceful, quiet apartment.

Fantastic
Dealing with David and then Ugur was always easy and timely. All the advice and help they gave me was spot-on. On our arrival we were met by Suleyman, and he helped with our bags and showed us around the apartment. He was never far away as he runs the teashop in the lobby, always ready to help with hailing a cab or replacing water for the cooler. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need. Washer dryer, hairdryer, dishwasher microwave et cetera. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable the beds were heavenly!
I travel to Istanbul frequently will stay here again without hesitation.

Our stay in Istanbul was amazing! The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and clean. It had all the necessary amenities. David and Stacy are very accommodating host. The check in process was easy. We walked to the historic sites across the bridge, to mosque, grand bizarre etc, but for those who prefer public transportation that is available too. We travelled in November, perfect weather/temp. Depending on traffic Cab can take 1hr. It's a busy city, people very friendly.

Very good accommodations
The apartment was very spacious. The decor was a good mix of modern and traditional Turkish tastes. It was close to good restaurants, shopping, taxis, and the Metro subway. All plumbing fixtures were excellent and in good working order. The second bedroom had its own bathroom and was at the opposite end of the apartment. Someone was available to help getting in. While the apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, the stairs were wide. The only problem we had was that we didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend this apartment for your Istanbul stay.

Family vacation
I would like to thank MR. David the owner , he was very helpful to give us valuable information , he always available any time for any questions.
The apartment clean /organized / safe/ , walking distance to Main Street in Taksim also 10-15 min walking to subway . Taxi available any time please use application BiTaxi to avoid extra fees.
Renting a car is not a good idea , parking very limited and expensive.
I recommend very highly Mr. David businesses, very professional and decent man to deal with.

Great location
The Orient Pearl is in a great location steps away from Iskalal Street and the busy night life of the new side of Istanbul. It was also convenient to take the tram to other parts of the city. The amenities of this 2 bed/2 bath are fabulous. The matched marble tiled baths are beautiful and made us feel like we were living in style. The kitchen was well appointed. There was fresh bottled water provided through a dispenser with both hot and cold. There was also an in unit washer dryer that made packing easy since we could wash our on clothes during the stay. We enjoyed sitting in the living area where there was TV with many cable channel options including some in English. I would and have recommended this apartment to friends. This was definitely a great place to stay in Istanbul.

Home away from home and then some
By far the best apartment hands down I've ever stayed at overseas or anywhere for that matter. The pictures do not do this place justice, this apartment has everything even the laundry soap made available. Lets also not forget David, Ugur, and Sulyeman just amazing folks to deal with, they are a well tuned machine, anything or any question they will gladly assist you no crazy the question.
Of course your near everything on Istikilal st. you really could stay on this street for your whole trip, but the metro and the bus system will take you anywhere you want to go. I can see why this apartment is coveted by many folks, please go ahead and book this place with no hesitation in your heart or wallet, it is beyond worth it, and can't wait till the next stay at this wonderful place, love the whole layout especially the front bedroom it's like having your own apartment in the apartment , so quiet from the rest of the apartment, great for the third wheel individual or couple and or teenagers in your party/group.
For those of you who mentioned/denounced the stairs in previous reviews, if my Mom with 2 bad knees who is 71 could do it, so can you , they are not even worth mentioning so climb some steps it's worth it for sure.
And, yes everything and I mean everything is a short walk away, can't wish or ask for for anything more .

A great place to stay in Istanbul
The apartment looks just like the pictures online. The home was spacious and was stocked with all the things you need; plates, pots, water cooler, towels, etc. You are a short walk from one of the main streets and there are numerous places to eat within less than 1 km. I will definitely stay at the apartment again.

Very Clean
This apartment is better equipped than my place back home lol. The kitchen has everything but we didn't eat in as there are so many good choices close by and so reasonable. Public transport is efficient and clean. We had a wonderful time.

We were in the middle of everything, the location is amazing. We didn't spend much time in the apartment as Istanbul is such a interesting and vibrant city. BUT it was a delight to return home to, so quite and peaceful.
