All resort amenities available to you = 2 private golf courses, private beach, swim park/lazy river, miniature golf, spa, 4 restaurants, plus more... All just a short golf card ride away! Come and experience "Altitude Adjustment" with five bedrooms and four bathrooms with large gathering and entertainment areas. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance (.7 mile) to the resort amenities. Altitude Adjustment has beautiful views of the 7th Fairway of Bald Mountain Course, the "golden pond", and offers many spacious inside and outside entertaining areas. From the front entrance, walk into the open concept, main floor with floor to ceiling windows that bring in much natural light and provide great private views. Three oversized sliding glass doors offer entrances from the living, dining, and sunroom onto the spacious, wrap-around deck. On the left wing of the main floor is a spacious sunroom with floor to ceiling windows providing a 180 degree view of the golf course. In the fall and winter months, you can catch a glimpse of the maintains through the trees. You and your family can relax and watch the large flat screen TV or enjoy the view of nature. Step outside onto the side porch and find the bench type seating which offers additional gathering space or a quiet place to relax. The main patio features a table, umbrella, six chairs, and a gas grill. At the far right end of the deck and just outside the Master bedroom, enjoy making s'mores and memories around the fire pit which has additional seating for four people. The fully updated kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops open up to the sunroom and dining room with great views of the main floor and the golf course. The dining room features a large farmhouse dining room table with a bench and chairs with seating for 8. To the right of the front door is the laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Beyond that is the common area main floor bathroom that features a jetted tub with shower. The first bedroom has a queen size bed. The spacious Master bedroom has a king size bed, "his and hers" closets, flat screen TV, and an en suite bathroom, PLUS gorgeous floor to ceiling windows & oversized slider doors that allow the beauty of your surroundings inside. Step outside onto the patio where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine around the seating area with fire pit. An added bonus from the Master bedroom and deck is the soothing sound of rushing water over the centuries old rocks and boulders of the Trout Stream across the street. Just open your window and let the calming sound of the water lull you to sleep. The lower level contains an additional master suite with ensuite, queen bedroom, bunk-room, kitchenette, and an additional living/great room area. We had a great time celebrating our friends 50th birthday. The remodeled house was amazing and had everything that we need to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces. We cooked many meals with no problems and drove into Lake Lure for a visit. Golf car was also an added bonus that allowed us to ride around and look at the neighborhood. Hope to visit again.

Spent 2 weeks at Altitude Adjustment in August with our kids and grandkids aged 2 & 5. This beautiful home was thoughtfully appointed with wonderful amenities. We especially loved the wrap around windows throughout the home - gorgeous views and wild turkeys who visited most mornings! Our 5 year old loved the bunkbeds and the 2 year old had a ball running around on the deck. We Loved having access to the golf cart and used it almost every day. The facilities at Rumbling Bald were terrific - from lake access to mini golf to tennis and, our favorite, the pool and the Lazy River. Glad to have a restaurant on-site as the main part of Lake Lure was about 25 minutes away. Dan was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect lake vacation.

My family of 6 loved their stay at this resort home! The well-stocked kitchen with dining and living areas on both sides made it fun to prepare and eat meals. We grilled on the large deck and enjoyed watching the wild turkeys and deer. The golf cart was a great addition, making trips to the beach, putt-putt, pool, tennis, and golf hassle-free. The beds were comfy, appliances brand new, and the owner was super quick to tend to even minor issues. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing trip to Lake Lure!

The property was just right for the size of our group and amenities provided. Unfortunately we found that the gas operated fire pit would not light and should probably be looked at by a technician. Overall, very comfortable and ship shape in a beautiful setting!

Attitude Adjustment has become our family’s favorite house. The openness of the living area allows for interaction between family as meals are prepared. The large table was perfect for meals and game night. With the many windows, we felt like part of nature even while indoors. The beds were the best we’ve experienced in a vacation rental. The upstairs master bedroom’s mattress was so comfortable. There is so much to do, the kids were at the pool every day, several rounds of golf and putt putt were played. Our avid mountain bikers enjoyed the on-site trail every morning. The golf cart was an added plus. For the outdoor enthusiast, there is so much to do and easy access to all; biking, hiking, tubing and so much more. Attitude Adjustment is a five-star stay.

We had a wonderful trip! I did a list of searching for the perfect house and we found it. Loved all of the dog friendly touches. The kids loved the basement. The golf cart was a huge bonus for us!

We had a wonderful stay at Altitude Adjustment! The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful new kitchen. We loved the location very close to the lake and beach, and the kids enjoyed riding along in the golf cart! The owner was quick to respond to all of our questions. Thanks for a great vacation!

The house and property was fantastic and was the best part of our short trip to Lake Lure. Even with the cable and internet going down on the next to last day we still had plenty of games and places to explore without using our devices . From a golfers point of view the course at Rumbling Bald has seen better days . The course at Apple Valley was marginally better . All restaurants in the area were closed Monday and Tuesday so be prepared to travel a good bit on curvy roads if you want to dine out . The pools were also closed during the week , but the Lake and beach was good enough for me . I had been to Rumbling Bald back in its early days and remember a much different resort . As far as the house goes it was the best house I have ever rented . MG

Amazing Time!

Amazing Time!

Overall our stay was fantastic! The house was truly beautiful, clean and a joy to be in. We loved all of the space in the house and location overlooking the golf course/mountains. We stayed for three nights, whether we were enjoying the view with some coffee from inside the house, sitting on the deck or watching a movie with the kids at night we had a blast. The electric fireplace, walls of windows and huge table really made it hard for us to leave the house each day! We were super close to mini golf, beach/lake and dining within the resort. Our favorite activity hands down was kayaking on the lake which we rented within the resort. We also took a day trip to Chimney Rock and the kids enjoyed gem mining. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions, they even left us some local coffee to try which was fantastic (mad mountain mama coffee). After checking out, we stopped in downtown hendersville to walk around and have lunch. The town has a bunch of shops and restaurants. We even bought some mad mountain coffee to take home with us. We will definitely be back and stay here again!!
