This 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath pet-friendly cabin sits on several acres of land with sweeping views of the Cimarron and Sneffels mountain peaks. Just 7 miles from Ridgway, 17 miles from Ouray, and less than an hour from Telluride, this cozy retreat is the perfect home base for all your San Juan Mountain adventures. Blending rustic charm with modern comforts, the cabin features a private hot tub, gas grill, and smoker—ideal for unwinding or entertaining while taking in the majestic scenery.

• STR Permit Number: STR2025-065
• Please note that, as with most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
• Pet Policy: Up to 2 pets allowed with a $40/day pet fee (maximum $250 per stay).
• Parking Policy: Driveway access only; trailers and RVs cannot be accommodated due to narrow access.
• Fire Policy: No outdoor fires permitted at any Catamount properties per HOA bylaws. ATVs may only be ridden on the road.
• Winter Access: 4WD/AWD vehicle with snow tires required for stays November 1 – May 1.
• Please review and follow the Good Neighbor Guidelines throughout your stay.

A deposit of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Everything is as described and what amazing views there are! Gosh, I'll be dreaming about those views for a long time! We had a great time and any time I reached out to the host, they responded quickly. Would definitely want to stay here again!

Wonderful visit to the most charming A frame cabin secluded in the mountains of Ridgway. We visited Telluride and Ouray and all agreed that we were so happy to actually be staying in this perfect spot up in Ridgway. Beautiful view of the San Juan mountains and central location to all the hiking we had planned for the area. Cabin itself was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, library was a dream, and my teen twins loved the binoculars and the banjo! We will certainly look to stay here again. We had one small hiccup on our last night with the hot water and the management company was a breeze to work with. Very professional and very accommodating. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

The setting and views from this cabin are spectacular! Great mattresses and bedding. But unfortunately there are a lot of little issues that took away from our experience, especially for the price. The cabin has an AWFUL smell, which the owners claim is from old wood. Our guess is mildew or a dead animal under the floor boards.Their dishwasher didn’t work, and they knew it considering there was an unused tablet in it already. There’s only 3 coffee cups and most of their wine glasses were filthy or cracked and not usable. We were very disappointed, and contacting them during our stay did nothing.
