This day was great Any accurate online listing

We'll start with the positives. I have never seen a rental kitchen so well stocked! And the sink is large and deep. Major plus! There is a filter on the faucet but when we stayed it was flashing red and needed to be replaced so that was a bummer. The couch is nice. The king sized bed was a major treat and it was super comfy. One of the best beds I have ever had in a rental! The bathroom was also quite nice with a modern stylish shower that was cool. Communication with the host was easy and fast. We needed more towels and she got them to us quickly. She also mailed me some things I forgot which was super nice. The entire space is bigger than I thought it would be from the pictures so that was awesome. Now for the negatives. I am guessing and hoping this will never happen again because now the host has been burned but I feel the need to mention it for an honest review. We knew this was a pet friendly rental because the blankets for the sofa bed and a couch pillow reeked of cat piss. The host said her cleaning lady didn't notice and/or tell her but c'mon ya gotta check that stuff. Giving a guest cat piss blankets is really unacceptable. Speaking of the sofa bed it is very small. As in the length of it is small. It worked fine for us because we had our toddler sleeping on it but an adult male or female could not sleep comfortably on it. The last thing worth mentioning is the host has dogs living above the rental that sometimes would bark at 3 a.m.

Peaceful Environment

The property was exactly what we needed. Clean and private. Felt like home

We were in town for the weekend. Arrived late evening but had trouble using the property's digital lock system because the owner reported it had operating problems. Messaged the owner more than once for help but never heard back til we'd already figured it out and gotten in. The property was a basement of a single-family home, and the entire place smelled like a dog, which was quite a turn off. Also found a large dead bug on the floor in the living room when we arrived. On the upside, the property had a larger bed in the bedroom than what was advertised (if I remember right), so that was a plus. Overall, the property served my needs while on my trip, but I wouldn't choose that property again.
