We stayed here for 9 nights. Location is between the beach and the strand. It says 1.5 bath but the downstairs bathroom has a shower so I would call it 2 bath. Nice and comfortable even on a long stay.

We had a great weekend, the house was so beautiful and big we enjoyed it, nice location, comfortable beds plenty of room, hot showers

FANTASTIC VACATION
MY FAMILY AND I COMPLETEDLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THIS BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY IN GALVESTON! GREAT LOCATION, WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND SIGHTS DURING OUR MORNING WALKS AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. WE GREATLY APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE SUCH A WARM/HOME-LIKE ENVIRONMENT DURING OUR TIME THERE. THANK YOU, JOHN & EVOLVE TEAM!!! WE CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT TIME!!!

This house was amazing. It was so old and unique. The owner was quick to respond when I had question. He was a good host and we loved our stay. The only down side to this place is the beds felt like they were going to fall apart. They were old and kinda uncomfortable. That is the only thing wrong with our stay. The house was beautiful and the rooms were big.

This house is beautiful inside and out. It’s very clean and spacious with comfy beds and everything you need for a getaway. We enjoyed the location very much- we walked everywhere and loved seeing all the other beautiful houses. Thank you for having us, we hope to come back soon!

We always enjoy staying in this neighborhood. It is a great location to the seawall and the strand. The house could have been cleaner. Definitely needs a deep cleaning. Overall enjoyed staying there regardless. There was plenty of room for my family.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very historic, classic Galveston home. The curb appeal is nice. As we entered, we were overwhelmed with the historic aura of this home. However, it was discovered that, despite being charged a “cleaning fee”, this home is not cleaned by professionals. If it is, they should seek a better crew. The cleanliness of the kitchen, dining and living areas was sub-par. With COVID going wild, we expected to feel incredibly clean and safe, but were let down by this property. I won’t say we wouldn’t book here again, but please look into professional cleaning and sanitization, starting with an incredibly deep clean and regular upkeep after. I don’t expect perfection, but this was pretty unsanitary, overall. As for location, it’s in a good spot. Great distance from Strand, Seawall, restaurants and tourist spots. If you are looking for a historic homesite to stay in, I recommend this place, as long as they assure you it is being deep cleaned prior to arrival. The owner is very nice and responsive.
