Casa Russell is a luxurious and strikingly styled private villa, located in the superb area of Gale (Albufeira) with amazing sea views, private ground (Pool heating optional extra charged at 300.00 euros per week) and pool and just 100m from the beach. Sleeps 12 people very comfortably The entrance hall leads to a gracefully furnished lounge and dining area where wide picture windows collect an abundance of natural light. The attractive, custom-built gourmet kitchen is modern and functional, with appliances set flush against the walls. Polished stone counters provide plenty of work space. Two guest bedrooms, one with sea view, both double en-suite, also occupy this floor in addition to a Utility room and wc cloakroom. The master suite with stunning sea views on the upper level opens on to a private balcony. The ensuite bathroom features a super cool all-glass shower box and twin vanity sink units, a large walk in wardrobe completes the room. Also located on this floor is another 3 double bedrooms, two with sea views and all with balcony and ensuite facilities. The lower ground floor houses a fabulous cinema room, a well equipped Technogym and a wine cellar. All rooms have air conditioning Outside, a garden of Mediterranean flora surrounds a swimming pool. Most beaches are Blue Flag awarded and have amazing rock formations offering super photo opportunities. The property is only a few minutes walk from a selection of excellent restaurants offering Portuguese and International cuisine and scattered around are a selection of chill-out bars and cafes. Theres also a supermarket ‘Apolonia’ nearby. Albufeira old town is a twenty to thirty minute walk away and offers a large variety of restaurants, bars and shopping. (10 minutes by car or taxi) Salgados golf course is set out on the flat lands behind the sandy beach of Praia de Gale. In fact there are numerous golf courses located across Albufeira and Vilamoura, so there are plenty to choose from. Albufiera marina is near too, wonderful for leisurely strolls admiring the yachts and lined with bars, restaurants and boat excursion opportunities. The Algarve shopping complex is around 10 minutes drive away - a shopper’s must, with clothes, shoe shops and large supermarkets. For families, Zoomarine and Aqualand are approximately 15 to 20 minutes by car.

This is a very lovely property. The location is convenient, the backyard/pool area offers lots of places to sit and is relaxing. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom so all guests have privacy. We had a fabulous time! We couldn’t have asked for much more.

Lack of running water, lack of hot water, air conditioners that dripped water all over the floor. Leaking toilet. Property manager was notified every day of the issues starting on the first day and most of them were never addressed through the entire stay. We were even told to literally use buckets to flush toilets with water from the pool since there was no running water. The water pressure issue ended up being related to a plumbing issue that required a professional service call to fix. The hot water issue was later revealed to be that the local property manager representative was incompetent and never even turned on the hot water heater. I tried to work with the manager and VRBO for a credit for the hassles we experienced but was not offered any resolution. For a very expensive rental advertised as “luxury” this was not at all the experience we were expecting.

Great location and fabulous outdoor area, to include a paddling pool area for our 2 year old granddaughter. She quickly moved up to the big pool and is almost swimming! All 12 of us had a great time also using the pool table and games room. Easy walking to beach and short distance to other beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. All bedrooms great sizes and same for bathrooms. Easy contact with Kevin and Lisa, the hosts. All making for a super holiday.

What a fantastic villa, it was better in the flesh as the pictures are wonderful, but to walk through the door for the first time, we all gasped and had the best holiday ever. The villa was second to none, with every thing we needed for a great holiday. Kevin was great and helped us and was always on the end of the phone to give advice and support on anything. An additional note, having 12 adults in one villa was not a problem, as the space inside and outdoors never seemed cramped at all. The taxis from the airport, are all professional and helpful being on time, so we used them during the holiday and back to the airport, so thank you for all your help, making our stay memorable and will be looking to come back very soon. Thanks again.

Na een vlot verlopen boekingsprocedure deze fijne vakantievilla voor de familie kunnen huren. De villa is fraai gelegen dicht bij diverse stranden en is zelf voorzien van exclusieve faciliteiten. Behoudens enkele onderhoudtechnische aspecten van het afzuigsysteem in de keuken, defecte wasdroger, niet functionerende airco's en verlichting een prima verblijf gehad.
