Disappointng, breakfast, location, access to transport and substandard quality of Hotel in general.

Nothing.

Out dated, in needs of major refurbishment. Shower hot tap never worked. Breakfast packed away 10 O,Clock on the dot so rushed to get out even still eating. Down laneway with no taxi service.

Location... neiborhood... staff... safety . Everything was 🥰 perfect

There was no washing machine ... and there was a cooker . But they didn't provide anything to cook with. . And they said that I shouldn't cook

Hotel lobby was nice Staff were friendly

The room was disgusting. Smelt like someone had smoked in there for years. The curtains were full of holes. The bathroom was full of mould. The bed had springs poking out of it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good value, full service property near Maya Shopping Center & Trendy Nimmanen Area.

Excellent value for the money, spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. The Superior rooms have a separate area designed for an efficiency kitchen sink and refrigerator and electric tea kettle which was unfortunately not practically equipped or encouraged to use, but if they could put at least a microwave, plates and utensils it would be a good plus. Full service property with daily maid service and amenities such restaurants, rooftop bar, 2 pools and fitness area. Walking distance (a bit cumbersome though, see below) to the Maya shopping center & trendy Nimmanen district.

The Furama is a large, older hotel with a traditional Thai and Chinese ambience designed to accomodate large groups of Asian tourists on escorted tours and conventions so it has more of business appeal. It appears that their main business comes from these large tour groups traveling in massive tour buses parked in the lot. So if you are looking for some local charm this isn't the right property for that. It is also a bit isolated albeit close to the trendy Nimmanen district, but you will need to walk about 15 -20 minutes and cross a very busy intersection with a very long light (15 min wait!) to get to the Maya shopping center and the bars and restaurants. The hotel needs updating and is in the process of doing some renovations. The pool on the 17th floor was closed for several days and the pool on the 5th floor is freezing cold. They have a fitness center and sauna but it was never turned on. The restaurants have mediocre food.

Not impressed

Room was very very clean and spacious though. Adequate lighting. Wonderful view!

One of the female staff member was not very welcoming and a little rude(definitely NOT language barrier!) when i forgot and accidentally left my keycard in the room on my first night. Bad first impression. Mattress was really hard. No directory to call reception to even use the room phone to call anyone if needed. Wanted to request an iron/ ironing board but just gave up. Lifts are really small and when there is a big group check-in, expect to wait about 30-40mins to take the lift to your room.

We loved our stay at Furama Chiang Mai, our room was huge and had everything we needed, also huge bathroom, shower was good, also we had an amazing view from our room! The location was also amazing, only few minutes away from One Nimman shopping mall, that looks like European Square and has a lot of great restaurants and shops. That have a beautiful rooftop with a pool, and also a rooftop restaurant with daily live music! And at the lobby thay sell delicious cakes and coffee! We are very satisfied with our stay and would gladly come back!

very nice staff

dirty, old shower. dusty, most of the time the pools were not for our use, it was always busy for private parties. they don’t want to give another key when you ask for another one. slow elevators.

Great!

The location is great! Nimman street and Maya shopping mall are within the walking distance. However the hotel is connected to the condominium and it was kind of confusing when we were looking for the way out. Our room were huge and aircon was nice and cold. There was no fork nor spoon available in the room but we called room service and they brought us a pair. No microwave but you can also call room service and they would heat up food for you. Staffs were amazing, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Chiang Mai.

The floor around the Swimming pool is a little old and need some touch up. The carpark is dark and overcrowded.

The location is super close to Nimman and Staff is very helpful and friendly

it's a bit pricey for what i paid 180 per each and what i got is a very low quality of Jam Ham and sausage. The rest of menu is acceptable. Moreover, The power socket is SUCK. You have to fix it period.
