Our quiet neighborhood is centrally located, with lots of stores only a few minutes away and close proximity to the University of Florida and downtown. We are just 2 miles from the university and about 10 minutes from downtown by car. We are also located just 10 minutes from Shands and North Florida hospitals, and only minutes from the airport and I-75. Our home can accommodate up to 6 guests, with 4 queen sized beds and a futon. Most bedrooms are outfitted with USB charging stations right next to the bed for your convenience. The home also has central air and heat, which can be controlled using the Nest thermostat. Our kitchen is ready to serve 6 people, and we have a fast WiFi system (130Mbs) for those who need to work from home. There is also a TV in the living room for entertainment. Our beautiful 4 bedroom home in Gainesville, Florida is perfect for families or large groups looking to spend some time in the area. Two nearby parks, Westside Park and Loblolly Nature Park, offer a variety of activities such as picnicking, hiking, and birdwatching. Westside Park also has a playground and sports fields. There are also several options for dining, shopping, and entertainment within a short driving distance of the house. Pet Info: Our cozy home is dog-friendly, but please note that we only allow dogs, no other pets are allowed. Additionally, we kindly ask that dogs are crated when left alone in the house for their safety and the preservation of our home. Also, all dogs must use a blanket when on couches and beds to keep them clean. We understand that accidents happen, but we kindly ask that all guests pick up after their dogs in our yard and on walks. Any damages caused by the dogs will be charged to the guests. Additionally, we only allow a maximum of two dogs, so please let us know in advance if you plan to bring more than two dogs. Our home is located in a great location, with plenty of dog-friendly parks and walking trails nearby, perfect for you and your furry friends to enjoy. While we have implemented pest control measures, it is not always feasible to prevent all insects or animals from entering the home. Depending on the season, guests may encounter mosquitoes, moths, gnats, flies, bees, ants, or spiders during their stay. To ensure your comfort, we recommend bringing a supply of mosquito repellent. Refund Policy: Our cancellation policy states that we are unable to offer refunds or compensation for cancellations made outside of the designated timeframe outlined in our policy. We recommend that you consider purchasing travel or personal liability insurance to protect against unexpected emergencies. In the event of a mandatory evacuation, we will provide a full refund. Additionally, we highly recommend obtaining travel insurance during the months of June through November, as there is a possibility of hurricanes or tropical storms in the area. While these storms are not common in Gainesville, they can be unpredictable and it is best to be prepared.

This was the second time we stayed at the Mural House and one year later the house was just as clean and comfortable as our previous stay. Yoshimi was just as attentive and ready to assist as the last time we stayed. Great host, great house in a great location!

The house is located in a serene residential neighborhood, quiet but easy access to main roads and the university. The screened in porch is nice for morning coffee and evening relaxation. Yoshimi provided all essentials and the local coffee was much appreciated. Note (I missed it in the description) that there is NO cable TV, just the Smart TV - fortunately my kids were with me and after some scrambling they were able to patch in to our DirectTV account or we would have missed the game. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay.

This house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. It is located very close to the "center" of all major activities. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. It has a beautifully painted mural on one wall. The house has your absolute basic of necessities. Screened in porch was nice. I like walking around yards looking at plants, flowers, etc., but we could not do so as the yard was very overgrown and had not been cut in a while.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, neighborhood was quiet, beds were comfortable. My only suggestion is the ceiling fan needs to be repaired or replaced in the room with the bathroom connected. It clicks and rattles constantly. The pillows were VERY firm which was wasn't terrible but a couple of softer options would have been nice. Local coffee was a nice touch. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. Thanks for hosting us!

Excellent rental. Very spacious, in a good neighborhood, with easy access to just about everywhere. Host was very accommodating and the beds are very comfortable. We had a very positive experience and will stay there again in the future.

The mural home was a cozy retreat for us while visiting our family. Yoshimi was a wonderful host, and answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly. The house is conveniently located; everything we needed was just a short drive away. My son loved the nearby playground! We hope to return the next time we are in Gainesville.

Very nice place to stay with tons of space and lots of rooms. I did not realize we had chosen a 4 bedroom place for just 2 of us but that's okay was cozy! Great location, short walk to hiking through Loblolly Woods, and not too far from anything else in Gainesville. Would stay here again!
