About this house rental
Relax at the newly renovated cottage by the beach with new owners. 2 bedrooms 1 bath, sleeps 5 comfortably. Walk to several restaurants, stores, and of course the beach! We are right in the middle of everything. We strive to give you the relaxing experience you deserve. We offer a large deck in front, and nice size deck on the back, that makes for some amazing stargazing at night, as well as sunrise coffee, off the master bedroom. The front deck offers beautiful sunsets and lots of space for fun! We also provide a 30A plug if you want to bring your RV.

This house was in the perfect location - walked to beach, walked to a restaurant on beach, nice quiet neighbor, other than trash not being dumped or taken out of the bathroom prior to our arrival, the house was awesome! 2 porch/decks and a screened porch! Wonderfully relaxing!!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway for our Anniversary. It was perfect, very quiet, close to the beach, and clean. We were able to bring our dogs and loved the little ramp off the back patio that allowed them to go downstairs to potty without us having to put them on a leash each time. We will definitely be back.

Home was beautiful and perfect for my stay in surfside while working in freeport. The home was stocked with essentials as well as some extras. The homeowner was responsive to questions when needed. Would love to stay here again

Location was exactly what we anticipated as we come to surfside alot. The property was exactly as described. Julia kept in contact with us prior to checking in. She told us about the cart they had that was rusted out and had seen better days.

We visit Texas a couple times except year and during the summer we like to stay close to the beach for surf fishing and going in the bays. This place was the perfect location for us. Within walking distance of the beach and a couple of restaurants. It worked great for just the 2 of us and the in laws when they visited for a few days. The owner was prompt when texting about any concerns or questions. We aren’t picky people, so if you are like us and keep busy most of the time and are just looking for somewhere to kick back in the evenings and to shower sleep and eat, this place will suit you fine!

I'm a newly single mom with two 10 year old twins. This was my first vacation to take alone with just the three of us. Hip Nautical Beach House was the perfect place for us to call home for a week. Julia (owner) was super easy to deal with and communicated with me often to make sure I was comfortable and felt at home. Julia went out of her way to give me suggestions of where to eat and fun things to do with the twins. She even suggested for me to hit up HEB in Lake Jackson to get curbside on my way into Surfside Beach. For that little tip I'm so grateful. (thank you Julia) I'm a cook and I was impressed with how stocked the kitchen was with everything I needed to feel at home. All beds were super comfy and the screened in porch was my "get away" hideout at the start of each morning and the end of each day. We loved the outdoor shower so much that is where we washed up most days. Something is very freeing about showering outside! This home was clean, comfortable and super relaxing. I felt very safe being a woman and alone with my children. Surfside Beach was laid back and peaceful. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you, Julia, for sharing your awesome beach house with us. We loved it and we had the best vacation to recover from a hard year. Next payday I'm booking us another weekend! Until next time... XOXO

Very cute & clean beachouse, in a nice and quiet area. The home looks just like it's pictures and is reasonably priced with great access to the beach. Cozy and lots of outside space for everyone! I needed more time to be able to enjoy every area of space...would love to rent again for a longer stay. I highly recommend for small families and additional guests during the day. I'm happy with my decision to rent.
