About this house rental

Located in Pomme de Terre Lake, this lovely house for $110 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Hickory Grove Hideaway provides the perfect accommodations for fisherman, hunters, family reunions, camps, couple's get-aways, and any other occasion you can think of! We boast a 12 slip boat dock available for our guests with a public boat launch within 1/4 mile, shared fire pit, in-ground seasonal pool, children's play ground, and additional outdoor activities to be enjoyed by all ages. We're even pet friendly! Come discover our beautiful hideaway on the edge of Pomme de Terre Lake. The space The Cabin accommodations include a full kitchen with plates/pots/pans/silverware , BBQ grill, covered parking, deck and picnic table. We also provide bedding, shower towels and kitchen towels. Please note: pool/lake towels are not provided. Other things to note We sell 10lb ice bags and additional basic pantry items upon request at our office. Full list of items is provided inside cabin.

It was not a cabin but a duplex and the placed smelled terrible from being closed up for the winter the deck was a mess and slick with leaves and things from the trees, the screen door was held together with pieces of wood nailed together and it could not be latched closed and didn't fit properly the pool was green the refrigerator was cracked and needed a good coat of paint they said you could see the lake from the deck and you could not. the manager acted like she could care less that we were not happy with anything we did not feel safe or secure there and we did NOT stay. I did not want to go somewhere that I had to clean up to stay at!!! I would not recommend anyone to stay there!
