Beautiful home set just steps away from Crystal Lake. The house was super clean and great communication from the owners! It was great for our family 3 under 5 and plenty of space to enjoy as well as great location to explore the area from! Thanks for a great family getaway spot!

Everything was great! Easy check in and out, great location, beautiful area. Room set up was nice, kitchen had pretty much everything you might need, and the house has a good layout. If you have more than a few adults parking may be an issue, so just check with the property owner to make sure you’ll have enough space.

Very nice versatile lay out. Well furnished, including kitchen gadgets! The location is perfect, close to Lake Michigan, small towns, Sleeping Bear dunes. Quiet neighhood. Also, comfortabke and felt safe.

Great place and perfect location. My family and I loved the lake and the walking trail. We rented a boat for the day and the fishing was incredible. Caught over 50 fish. We also went to Lake Michigan and walked the town of Frankfort. House rental included kayaks, paddle boards and tons of games. It was equipped to make it feel like home away from home. We had the best time and will definitely book again in the future.

Stayed here with family and friends. The purpose of our trip was a fishing trip out of Frankfort. The accommodations and location met our needs. Would definitely recommend.

My family had such a great time here! The house is equipped with everything you’d need, is absolutely darling, and the owners have gone out of their way to provide extras that make a trip to the UP memorable. Crystal Lake is beautiful. We all (4 teenage boys and their parents) enjoyed exploring on kayaks and paddle boards. Neighbors were kind. Very quiet area. The proximity to the lake, Betsie trail, Beulah, and Frankfurt is fantastic. Great rental! Great trip!

The house was a great place to rest and recharge for the next days fun. We have two kids (age 4 & 5), they lived the bunk room! We definitely want to come back.

We used this cottage as a resting spot while we visited our family on a different section of Crystal Lake. As a result, we did not use the beach much but the house provided everything we needed to be comfortable and relax.

The property is nice. Neighbors are nice. Would love a sandy beach, but I was aware that this property did have lake access and that was fun. We loved the lake, it is so clean and pretty.

A great week of water, sun, biking, beaches, breweries, and relaxation in Northern Michigan. The place was just right for our family. Comfortable beds. A modern kitchen and living area. Easy access to the lake and to the bike paths. And a very responsive hostess with great local recommendations. We will definitely be back!

My husband and our two daughters (1 and 3 yo) had a lovely week at this cottage in June! It was spotlessly clean and modern. Even though it was small, it had all the room we needed. Our 3 yo slept in the bunkbed room (sleeps up to 4), and we set up our 1 yo in her Slumberpod in the sunroom off the kitchen. Livingroom was cozy, and kitchen was well stocked. There was everything you'd ever need to go play in the water, although it was a little too chilly to go swimming. There is a small strip of public access to Crystal Lake at the end of the street which our daughters enjoyed. Only things to note, especially for families: There's only a shower (no bath) which was a bit challenging for the kids. We purchased a little tub mat to prevent them from slipping in the shower. There's also no washer or dryer. Kids being kids, we had to do a few loads by hand in the kitchen sink and hung our laundry outside to dry on the supplied laundry line and clothes pins. Lastly, there is no AC, but plenty of fans in all the rooms. We had a couple scorcher days and struggled to keep it cool. Just plan to close all the blinds and keep the fans going during the day so it's not too hot at night. The cottage is super close to everything you need, either in Frankfort, Beulah or Benzonia. Johnna was very quick in responding to our questions, and the check-in/check out process was super easy. Thank you for sharing your little lake house with us!

Needs for cooking were all met with utensils, pots, colander, plates and bowls. Proximity to Crystal Mountain was nice for skiing! Only recommendation would be for guests to be allowed to load dishwasher and be able to leave. The need to unload requires tenants to have stay for cycle. Thanks for a great stay

The cabin has been nicely updated and is bright, clean and comfortable. It has easy access to Crystal lake with use of paddleboards and kayaks and the entrance to the bike path is down the road. It is conveniently located between downtown Frankfort and Beuleh. I didn't see or hear anyone else on the street the whole weekend.

Nice place. Liked the south side of crystal lake. Bike trails were close, kayaking was fun, fishing on crystal was a good experience too! We always enjoy Roadhouse Mexican restaurant!👍

This was our family’s (2 daughters ages 12 and 20) first time in Michigan and we had many plans to check out different areas while there….however we absolutely loved this property, the water access by it to Crystal Lake,and the cities of Frankfort and Beulah that we never wanted to leave the area! The house is modern, beautiful, well stocked and on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. We especially like the outdoor griddle and cooked many meals out there, along with bonfires in the backyard and playing in the water at the end of the street. The house is very close to Frankfort Beach, Beulah Beach, and Point Betsie. Although it was a warm Summer week when we were there, the lack of AC wasn’t that bad. We brought a fan from home and although the days were toasty, we were barely inside and the nights were perfect. We were so appreciative of the use of their water toys and they helped us really enjoy the water right there at the end of the street. This is very shallow water that is easy to safely play in. It was perfect. Thank you for sharing your perfect house with us! We enjoyed making memories there!

I love VRBO and have used it several times. This cottage is, by far, the best one I have stayed at. The interior has everything you need kitchen wise. The open layout has plenty of space for family time...and that little back porch if you've had too much family time. The outdoors...truly priceless. I cannot remember a vacation where I felt so relaxed. Being on the sand bar is amazing. I did daily and evening water walks, the water depth was perfect! My boys enjoyed the paddle board, but spent most of their time just floating around. The location is fantastic, too! 10 minutes in either direction takes you to the cutest small towns for meals out. 30 minutes north is Sleeping Bear Dunes for hiking and a ton of beautiful lake Michigan beaches. Great location. Less than 10 minutes to Frankfort and Beulah. Best spot on the lake for swimming, paddling, kayaking in clear, shallow waters. Very kid friendly set up, awesome open kitchen / living room. Super clean and plenty of space for our family of 6. Thoughtful and responsive owners. We’ll be back!

Crystal Lake is gorgeous, the small towns nearby have cute shops and restaurants and there is plenty of great outdoor activities within a short drive. We really enjoyed the cottage and will plan a trip back in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay. The living space open to the kitchen made the house feel big enough for our family of six. Kids loved the loft beds. The shower is huge and bathroom is all newly renovated and clean. The entire house was spotless when we arrived. Neighborhood was quiet and the one neighbor we encountered was friendly. Quaint backyard space with fire pit made for peaceful evenings. Crystal lake is beautiful and water clear and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat in, and outdoor griddle is awesome. Frankfort is a lovely town for family vacationing up north. Thank you for a wonderful stay at an excellent value! The only downside is no central air or air conditioning.
