We really enjoyed our stay at the property. Beautiful location, just a 5-min drive from the beach, close to many beautiful places to explore. Our host, Katrina, was wonderful, very quick to respond, she gave some tips on how to get around Edisto Island and nearby attractions and restaurants. The condo is very comfortable for three people. It was equipped with everything we needed. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

This was a great place to stay for our family. Plenty of room and everything we needed was supplied. Katrina was very easy to communicate and always very friendly and quick to reply. The condo was just as described not the Ritz but very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful while we were there. I think our favorite part was the screened in porch. Great for morning coffee and evening night cap! The golfers were entertaining to watch. We would definitely book this place again.

We had a short but wonderful stay at this facility, and we will definitely be back! It was clean, quiet, and the on-line rental process was easy and fast. I had several questions for the owners, and I got answers within minutes of sending an email or text. Great experience.

Great, quiet, laid back beach spot, we had a great time, and all the space we needed. There were fun eateries and gift shops to browse. The owners were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

We enjoyed our long weekend getaway staying here! It was exactly as described and we enjoyed having the cabana pass. The screened porch was a favorite! Can’t wait to be back!

We read all the reviews before we went. We were not expecting a luxury rental. We knew the property was in need of renovations that owners of only two years could not yet afford. We expected a clean comfortable place to snowbird for a month. Upon arriving we were more than pleased with the area, the resort and the location. All absolutely stunning. When we entered condo we were relieved. A little drab and dated but clean and that wonderful screened porch and views of the live oaks and spanish moss just draw you in. I texted Katrina and told her the place was fine and we were happy. Although there were a few hiccups in the first couple of days, we were enjoying ourselves and kept a possitive attitude. Main issue for us was the king bed. You start noticing after a few nights that its uncomfortable. When you finally investigate you discover they have a king size mattress on a california king box spring and half the box spring has collasped. You find that you’re sleeping on a hill. Mattress overlaps boxspring by 4 inches. This is just a complete lack of care for your guests. We both were uncomfortable on the queen bed so spent the month sleeping seperately; still trying to stay positive and enjoy our stay. Living room and kitchen were fine although wifi supplied by hotspot was almost non existant. Struggled with leaving bad review but not fair to future guest if issues not fixed. I have pictures to prove my assertions.

Overnight for business and enjoyed the property very much. I will be back🤗

We especially enjoyed the pavilion, the. great restaurants nearby and a visit to nearby Botany Bay.

An easy check in. Great communication with property owners. Enjoyed early mornings on the back porch. The bike trails were a lot of fun. We can’t wait to go back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Oak Grove so much! Katrina was super easy to communicate with and there was no stress about check in. The property was very clean. We had 5 people in our group and everyone was comfy 😁The location was great and had the option of using a beach access with restrooms and picnic tables. We would definitely book here again!

We enjoyed our week. My 87 yr old mom managed the stairs ok but it was a lot for her. I didn’t envision that many stairs. Also the dresser in the king bed room is very precarious… it could easily fall on someone when pulling out a drawer. The drawers in the other dresser won’t open. A closet, Tupperware and blankets would be a great addition. The ice and the water in the fridge did work. The porch was lovely!! Your quick responses appreciated! Thank you!!

We loved our stay at Oak Grove. Katrina was so kind and easy to work with up front and during our stay. This little condo has all you could need! My favorite place is the screened porch - you feel like you are in our own treehouse and the day bed with the fans going, you can’t help but relax!

All window blinds largely in nonworking condition, which had previously been noted in another renter's review. When i questioned the owner prior to committing to rental, I was advised that this had been resolved. VRBO message to me from the host stated that the "toilet paper and laundry detergent would be provided." When I contacted the host after check in to say that there was little toilet paper and not detergent available, the reply on the phone was that "on the island, the practice is to only furnish an initial supply" until more could be purchased by the guest. I found the initial owner's advice to be misleading.The kitchen faucet did not rotate between the double sinks and the spray was not functional. The elevated toilet and walk in shower in the master bathroom was a plus for handicap access. However, the removable shower head was mounted so high that it was risky to remove from its holder if short or handicapped. Also a grab bar in the shower would provide safety. The lighting in the same shower had 1 bulb missing and only 2 of the possible 4 had matching wattage. Day 1 on check in, when the master bedroom was entered and the door shut, we were locked in because the door handle was reversed so that the push in lock button was outside the door and apparently pushed in. Consequently we lost hours of use to communicate with the host while a handy man was acquired to correct. The handy man also had to close the broken window blind that was nonfunctioning at a 45 degree open position. He advised to not use it since it is broken. Consequently, the room was dark during daylight unless a light was left on for safe access. While waiting on the handy man, we eventually found that there was a second exit door onto the outside stairs, but still could not get in to the main condo area because we had locked the main door from the inside for security. We later found instructions to not use that main exterior door interior lock in the Welcome booklet, but those instructions proved useless at check in. A handwritten note was later found taped to the door, but had been destroyed by someone's scratching with a marker. The host providing a Cabanna pass for the beach use was a great plus and much appreciated. In net I would expect owners to be more careful in their overall planning, maintenance, and management of their condo for rental to the public. The host did voluntarily refund $100 for "our inconvenience."

Nice layout, love new flooring. Comfy beds and nice showers Could use more updating especially needs new blinds. We had beautiful weather and ate at lots of your recommended restaurants Reasonably priced Thanks and best wishes
