Our Suite was roomy, it had a great walk-in shower, and I love the walkable close proximity to Sundance Square. The iL Modo restaurant is also wonderful. It would be a 5-Star review for me except for one caveat, and I’ll share that below.
I’m an early riser, my favorite time of the day is the silent stillness before the break of dawn. I love sitting in muted lighting, while relaxing with a cup of my hot green tea, however . . .
For a nice boutique hotel in which my room can generate $12k per month of revenue, I’ve become accustomed to having a Keurig in the room for our coffee, and perhaps even a small electric tea kettle.
Surprisingly, the management of Kimpton Harper apparently feels that going to their restaurant at 6:30 a.m. suffices for your morning coffee, and maybe it does for most folks, but that doesn’t work for me.
I’m up at 5 a.m., and as the city sleeps, I want to relax in my jammies in my dimly lit room, and I want to fix my own tea, while also brewing a cup of coffee for my wife to awaken to. Plus, I also like fixing a cup of tea in my room at other times of the day or evening as well.
Staying at an upscale hotel with no Keurig or tea maker in the room, is no bueno for me.
So although I would love to give it 5 Stars across the board, I’ll give this stay a 4-Star review instead.

It’s very nice! Vintage updated! The check front counter is on the 24th floor! Neat! I loved our room! AC work excellently! It was walking distance to where we wanted to go and we enjoyed Jake’s Burgers on the corner! 2thumbs up!! 👍🏻👍🏻

It was central to downtown , nice & spacious room comfortable bed ,
Our room wasn’t as clean as it should be , hair in the shower & on shower walls ,
On the day we checked in we went to sleep after travelling & was awoke by the cleaner to clean the room when we had only just checked in? This happened on the day we were leaving as well - she came at 9am and woke us up. Which we found extremely odd. No water in rooms , bottled water was 6$
