- The rooms were lovely, modern, clean and comfortable. Daily service was good and the cleaners left the place in great condition every day.
- The breakfast was really tasty with a good selection each morning.
- The hotel itself was beautiful and had many positive aspects. We also really liked the location of Pyrgos.
- The welcome on arrival felt quite abrupt, with a quick hello before being asked to sign two documents detailing damage fees, no “how was your trip” etc.
- The transfer arranged by the hotel from the port also didn’t give an amazing first impression. The fare was €35 and when we paid with a €50 note, the driver said he had no change. Eventually he produced a handful of notes and gave the change.
- One morning, housekeeping arrived around 10am, shortly after we had finished breakfast. When we said we would not be ready for another 20 minutes, the staff member rolled his eyes and walked away. It was a small interaction, but it added to the feeling that the service was not as welcoming as expected.
- getting a phone call at 11am on the dot to ask us to check out as we were opening the door to leave!

Comfortable bed.

Disappointed on arrival to find no welcome pack.
Not even the essentials were supplied.
On arrival we had,one mug and 2 glasses and 2 small bottles of water.
When you arrive you usually expect to be able to make a hot drink,well this was impossible because we had one mug between the 2 of us.
No Tea bags or sachets of coffee and not even a teaspoon.
These are advertised as luxury suites with a minibar,champagne and fruits.
For the price I paid it was a massive disappointment.
The hot tub was warm and recirculated the water at set intervals.
The jets didn't work at all,and were never fixed.
Basically the hot tub is a warm bath not a jacuzzi as we expected.
Overall we enjoyed the stay,but it was not as advertised and has made me very unsure about using Booking.com again.
