Our Red Door cabin is the perfect place for your next getaway. This newly remodeled cabin is the coziest space to disconnect and recharge. Spend your mornings sipping your cup of coffee on the private deck and listening to the birds sing. At night, our cozy cabin gives you a great look at the stars while being nestled between the trees. Close to many trails, hikes and only 1.4 miles from Town Center! We invite you to enjoy our spectacular cabin and enjoy the charming town of Idyllwild! This is the Red Door unit of our Retreat House. The Red Door is in the same structure as another unit (Little Yellow Door) however, there are no shared spaces besides the walkways and parking areas. The Red Door unit is above the Yellow Door Unit (similar to a duplex apartment). This listing is for the top unit of our Retreat House. It is possible that there will be a guest that books the bottom unit, Little Yellow Door, which may lead to a potential for noise. These two units are in the same structure. If you would like to book the whole unit or the bottom unit, please ask! Provided is a full sized bed and a single sofa bed (meant for a small child). Our retreat house has a full functioning kitchen, including stove, oven, microwave and full fridge. Parking is available and close to the cabin, however, there are steps down to the cabin and the entry way is not paved. CHECK IN: 4:00pm & CHECK OUT: 10:00am. Please communicate via Air Bnb your ETA. Check in: I will send you a check-in guide the morning of when your stay begins - this will be sent through the AirBnb app in our message thread. All information, parking, lockbox, etc., will be included. Check Out- Please try to leave the cabin the way you first found it. Check out instructions can be found in the house manual left inside of the cabin. Regarding Dogs: we do ask for an extra cleaning fee PER dog for each stay. Each dog must be approved and paid for before check in. Please ask us about the fee before booking to ensure we're all on the same page. Unfortunately, we do not allow cats. An unauthorized early check in or late check out will result in a $150 minimum fee. ABSOLUTELY NO GRILLING OR OUTDOOR FIRES. Due to the recent fires, we are PROHIBITED from any outdoor flames. As recommended by other guests: What to Pack! -wash cloths (we provide one bath towel per guest) -mosquito repellent -towels for outdoor activity -shampoo, conditioner, body wash -spices, oils, extras for cooking! -And most importantly, your adventure bug! There is little cell reception on the property based on the phone carrier that you have.Upon leaving the property at the 243, there is full cell service. However, in this unit, there is Wi-Fi.
