Yelton Manor Bed and Breakfast

It was very clean, comfortable, with an old fashioned homey vibe perfectly suited to and located for South Haven’s North Beach across the street. Tasty breakfast served very quickly. There were some nice touches such as brownies and chocolates & candy left for the guests. Beach towels were made available.

Nothing. Yelton Manor is a good example of how a traditional old style Lake Michigan B&B should be. If we were to absolutely nitpick, as we were travelling from abroad by air, with a rental car, it would have been nice if we could have borrowed or rented collapsible beach chairs/perhaps a beach umbrella from them.

Everything was great but the room was a little cold and the breakfast was good and we could walk to everything,the beaches were great also thanks for the nice stay

No hot tub or pool

Very clean, super easy and nice place. Location is amazing.

Location, location, location.

Customer service was too relaxed. No parking initially. Landscaper agreed to move his car. Then no one answered the door. Lanscaper let us in but then guy apologized by saying he was taking a nap. Then with breakfast, lady said she wasn't feeling well so couldn't get to grocery store. This is all okay. Things happen to people on a personal level but you aren't supposed to present excuses to someone on vacation who's hoping for an escape.... Then toilet was broken and initially they said no one would come...at 9 pm at night. I had to raise my voice and be more direct to let the know them know that holding our bladder until 10 am the next morning was not an option. I don't want to have to get angry to get a bathroom fixed on vacation. They didn't even offer an alternate option. It's not like there is a hotel lobby with bathrooms. Suddenly a plumber was available but the lady wasn't even apologetic about the situation and was audibly irritated that we had a problem.The whole experience was just odd. It wasn't worthy of $200 and night let alone the $475 premium on labor day weekend.
