About this house rental
House of Shadar is a contemporary "home away from home" which is centrally located in the Kingston area.The home has 2 private bedrooms as well as 2.5 bathrooms. The home was recently renovated and designed to house the on the go or stay a while traveller. The outdoors include a private terrace to the front and the rear of the home. There is a private parking spot. The community is small and allows for a private feel.

My stay at this property was excellent. It is very secure and is in walking distance to Mega Mart shopping store.
The host responded very quickly to my communications.
The one suggestion i would give to make it little more comfortable is to add an A/C unit to the living area downstairs.

We had a great short stay at this property was very beautifully decorated- it was hot downstairs even with the ceiling fan but Ms.Leona brought a standing fan which helped to cool the downstairs. She was very prompt in all her interactions and very easy to get a hold of.
Property is centrally located very easy to access. It is across from Mega Mart so you can get groceries etc. Devon house was close by we could enjoy the garden and get ice cream- half way tree was only a 10 minute ride based on traffic...would highly recommend this rental for long or short term stay. Complimentary water and juice were provided which was great. The natural light in the bathrooms was perfect due to the skylight. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was esthetically pleasing from the patio all the way throughout the entire home.
My only suggestion to Ms.Leona is the motion lights in the bedroom which kept coming on when my toddler or infant moved around on the bed during the night. And the one downstairs which kept coming on if you moved on the sofa while watching TV- to which she has a simple fix.
Truly enjoyed our short stay...Great Job with the interior design.. Nice patio space in the front for entertaining visitors. There is a water tank with a pump available with the flip of a switch if the water pressure gets low upstairs which was great. Community is small and quiet
*My suggestion...More shelving required for longer stays, there wasnt much shelving if we wanted to unpack for a longer stay. But it was perfect for our short stay.
I would also recommend to use Towel Mats for the bathroom as the other bath mats do get wet and may become moldy over time.
Great job Ms.Leona...I will definitely recommend your rental to family and friends...and we would definitely stay again on our next visit. Thank you for your true Jamaican hospitality and your prompt response whenever we had a question.
