The location and free conoe use and staff very friendly and clean.

The place is a run down a bit and needs a big makeover but it was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable. The manager Brent was awesome. We needed extra blankets and pillows and he was so nice about it. We got to visit with Brent and is a really nice guy. You guys are lucky to have him. Until next time!!

Nice location in town, close to downtown. Nice area by the lake to sit at, fire pits, available canoes, paddle boat, kayak, but we didn’t use. I was excited to see we were staying in a cabin, however, was just a small studio style room with NO view—fenced in behind windows, not even able to open windows for breeze. I found there were other bigger rooms available as we were here in the off-season. Online booking stated it was the last room available, otherwise I would have waited until we saw it before booking. Would have appreciated knowing that, would have chosen one of them. Only contact with the place was through online and text message in order to discuss commendations. There was a nice manager on the place when we arrived but all things had to be routed to the owners via text, online, and I guess a phone number at the office, which we never did get to.

No view from cabin, was not an individual cabin as expected.

Charming early 20 th century feel. Reception was wonderful and friendly. Would ask that more people at end of phones when we call with questions.

Good people to deal with, comfortable bed. Nice refrigerator and microwave. Nice setting.

The cabin is very old. Bathroom very difficult to navigate and has very old fixtures. I wouldn’t mind old, but that makes it that much more difficult to keep clean. Toilet seat and flusher in disrepair, but able to use with persistence. Extension cord running from living room under door that connects to adjoining cabin. Adjoining cabin lock very simple/rudimentary; did not feel secure. No modern wiring for today’s electronics. Cabin was cozy and it worked just fine for a one-night stay, but I’m afraid I would not return.

Stayed in unit 5. Easy come and go. New linens. Right next to the lake. Window unit AC provided the right hum all night to feel quiet. College dorm sized fridge was perfect.

Bring a pillow. Small bathroom.

The fishing, canoeing,paddle boat and fire pit were wonderful. Brent was courteous, friendly and helpful. The kitchen was clean and the appliances were updated.

Cabin 1 is desperately in need of TLC. The overhead fan light in the queen bed bedroom had a blade separate while running and was thrown across the room. We are fortunate to have not been sleeping at the time. We have lots of complaints about the dirty carpet, spider webs in windows and etc.

Such a great location for a price that can’t be beat. Was traveling for work and loved this stay. Definitely recommend!

The location was what I needed. It had two bedrooms.

The room was super musty. I am very sensitive to mold. I had a difficult time sleeping with the mildew smell n the cabin. Both my daughter and I woke up to sore throats the night it was the worst. The carpet was so old and tattered.

Beautiful setting!!! This property could be updated, marketed and receive great reviews!! Great location. Super host!! Very mellow setting!

Needs to be upgraded. We are not all oil line workers or fishermen.

Had kitchen and two separate rooms.

A little confusing to check in. Owners are not on property and they have no one that knows who is coming and going. The guy that rents upstairs apartment was told to take care of everything but he has no idea what to do. They need some hospitality because Minnesota likes one on one contact no apps to figure out your room number and code to get in. Couch had no mattress on fold out, so it was saggy. One out of three boats has no updated license and no way to get life jackets.
