Nestled in Edisto Beach, this lovely house for $307 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Discover authentic rest and relaxation that can only be found during an amazing vacation at Toes in the Sand. This home is very neat, well kept, and recently updated in the winter of 2019. Sit back and relax on the screened porch or take the short walk to the beach for afternoons of fun in the sun. If biking or walking is on your agenda, the community bike path can be picked up adjacent to the rear of the property taking your group on a great trek around the beach and out on the island. The kitchen, dining, and living room combination will have your group sharing laughter and fun throughout your visit to Edisto. Internet access and cable televisions will keep each guest entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach. You and your family will spend hours relaxing and finding out what all the fuss is about Edisto Beach. Start your vacation tradition with your Toes in the Sand! Things to Know No smoking No pets Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. We have been visiting Edisto for more than 40 years.
As our group has gotten smaller we have been exploring new houses. Toes in the Sand did the job! We enjoyed the house only a block from the beach. Had deer in the yard every morning.
The house was clean and easy to keep clean.
Will use Vacasa again to find another house next year.

Kitchen appliances need replacing; toaster, toaster oven, drip coffeemaker. Non stick pots /pans old and Teflon heavily scratched /flaking (hazard), replace pots /pans . Burned out and some missing light bulbs in kitchen. Back patio needs a good cleaning, pressure wash. Tv sound bar does not work and the credenza under tv is falling apart.

The home was okay. The rental company immediately responded when we needed something fixed which was great. 2 of the 3 queen size beds were comfortable. Linens were included but the sheets were very scratchy. The dressers in the bedrooms were broken. The kitchen could be de-cluttered some and there was no place to store non-refrigerated food. There is a beautiful oak tree in the back but the droppings got all over the porch, your cars and underneath the house. There isn’t an outlet to plug any thing in underneath the house either. All in all, the house was clean but we are not interested in renting again.

Property was as shown in photos. Very clean when we arrived. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of room and enjoyed screen in patio. Easy access to beach. Enjoyed our very much.

The house had a great location we loved the short walk to the beach and the bike path being right there, but the house was not the cleanest. Dirt and dust on the baseboards and the sink in one of the bathrooms had sand in it upon our arrival. We checked in at 4 when we were supposed to and someone was still there doing stuff while we were unloading but it just didn’t seem like it was clean and disinfected very well. There were also a lot of cockroaches multiple times throughout our stay. We've stayed in edisto before at a different house and have not ever had an issue with cockroaches in the house.

Overall our stay was a great time of rest and relaxation.The only problem we had was with the golf cart rental.It was promised to be delivered before lunch on Friday along with a full tank of gas. We had to call around 1:00 pm because it had not arrived. We were told it was on the way. It finally arrived at 1:30 pm with a half tank of gas. The delivery person did not say anything about being late. His only commit was that a half tank of gas would take us around the island several times. The whole reason we wanted the golf cart was to help my sister in law who has Parkinson's.

Overall our stay was a great time of rest and relaxation.

Always enjoy this location! Owner has upgraded inside and out. ONLY complaint is dining room table. Glass with corners is not good idea in family based home. We tapped foam on the corners last year and again this year.

We were happy with the location of this property. The stairs leading up to the front porch were cracked and loose. The floors were dirty, the sheets on the beds were sandy and dirty. We were going to vacuum but the belt was broken on the vacuum cleaner. When we arrived at the home the lady leaving who said she was the inspector said she did the best she could that she was able to sweep but did not mop the floors. We cleaned the home ourselves prior to our un packing. One of the beds was broken but when we notified the office someone came right away to fix it.

Awesome house!!
This house was perfect for our vacation and I will definitely be renting again. The inside was great with new floors and renovated bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you need plus some. The boys played table tennis and we enjoyed grilling out under the house. The beach is straight across the street. We loved this house. Thanks Leslie for helping find this house.

The location is great. However, we have been renting the same house for several years (more than 5 years) and have seen a decline in the maintenance and upkeep of the house (and a rise in the cost). It needs a deep cleaning and the appliances and blinds need replaced. We love the location but have chosen to move to a different house next year. Very spacious and with some TLC could be a great house again.
