Per the Edisto Beach Police Dept, due to this home's location on Palmetto Blvd, golf cart(s) cannot be driven to or from this property. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. This house has everything! Very well stocked. We loved everything about this house. Nothing negative to say. We actually want to stay again!! Defiantly our favorite of any place we have stayed over the years.

We have never been to Edisto and we’re in town for a family wedding. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about Ballentine cottage. The owners have created a little piece of heaven that provides everything you need for a weeks stay on the beach. The finishes are amazing and we utilized the pool and outside TV for most of the stay. My 71 year old mother appreciated the use of the elevator to get up and down floors. Amazing views!
