Welcome to mountain top luxury. This brand new custom built home, with 6 bedrooms, is designed to comfortably accommodate large families or a gathering of friends. With multiple decks to the window-backed great room and game room-panoramic, mountain views follow you throughout this home. You will be a short 5-minute drive to both Blowing Rock and Boone, North Carolina. The house is designed with a modern rustic feel and incorporates amazing long range views. The house sits atop Appalachian Ski Mountain which is great for those fun days on the slopes. It is a short drive to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, fishing, hiking, restaurants, shopping, and other fun tourist destinations of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Great property and experience overall. The view is absolutely spectacular. The furniture and amenities were exactly what we needed. Plenty of parking space for our group. The kids loved the bunk bed room, games and toys. The adults loved the number of bathrooms, the smart tvs, kitchen hardware and seating options. The Christmas tree was a welcome touch that really made the group feel at home. We will stay again.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay! Gathered with my older parents, Sister and her family. The house was extremely accommodating in every aspect. The views were spectacular! The fall leaves were at their peek.

Beautiful home with incredible mountain views. Most well stocked kitchen of any VRBO I’ve ever rented. Lauren, the host, was very responsive. The home has a great floor plan for large groups with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. I only have a couple of suggestions that would make a stay here even better. The upper windows in the living area need remote blinds. The sun can be blinding and it’s impossible to watch TV during the day because of the glare from these windows. Also, the lower level could use a coffee table and/or end tables to make this area more usable, and the bunk room is really only good for kids. Very cramped for two adult women with no tables, TV, or lighting. Overall, would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay there again.

Honestly have never stayed at a rental that was so well maintained, stocked and beautiful! My entire family and extended family enjoy the vacation. The home offers views that pictures just can’t do justice. When it comes to having it stocked,
If you think of something you may need the cabin has it.

This was our second stay and we hope to return every year. The home is just lovely and has everything we needed. The views are spectacular and we especially love being close to town. Kitchen was well equipped and beds and sitting areas comfortable. Another big win for us was the seating on both decks and ample space for parking. Can't wait to return and make this an annual trip.

We had a great weekend celebrating my brother-in-law’s upcoming wedding. The house accommodated multiple people with privacy (private bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms), but also had fantastic areas to congregate together. Morning coffee on the balcony was my favorite part— the view is even more stunning in person. The location is also perfect, just a short drive from both Blowing Rock and Boone. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic week in the beautiful home. The pictures do not do it justice. We had ages 11-84 in our group of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out but come together for big family dinners.
The drive up to the house can be a bit daunting but after a few times you get used to it. The views are breathtaking. Loved having coffee in the morning sitting on the deck looking out at the mountains.
This is one of the best stocked homes we have rented for our big crew. Lots of dishes and silverware - we tend to cook a lot when we all get together. Some places we go we have to run to the store for salt and pepper. They had tons of spices, coffee filters, k-cups, tea, etc. It was a fantastic experience for our whole family.

We walked into the house and were totally blown away! The views are amazing. The house is spacious and welcoming. The house is convenient to everything! We loved sitting on the porch and listening for the train whistle from Tweetsie! We would definitely stay again!

Perfect mountain rental. Spacious house and kitchen stocked with everything we needed! The house was very clean and well taken care of. Beautiful view from the back decks .. loved the hammock swings.

We enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. The house is setup for large families or groups to stay at with two refrigerators and two sets of washers and driers. We did not have that large a group that we needed it but it got us thinking about future visits.
The location is perfect with easy access to Blowing Rock and Boone and all the hiking in the area.

Our family took a ski trip to Appalachian Ski Mountain and this home was perfect. The home is beautiful and very clean. The location is perfect for anyone going skiing/snowboarding. The view is unbelievably breathtaking, and the host was easy to communicate with.
My family and I (ranging in ages from 3-50's) all enjoyed our stay and there was ample room for all of us to comfortably stay (there were 10 people total).

We loved the home and the view. The only thing we asked that a house number be put at the end of the driveway. Its very easy to miss. Everything in the home was up-to-date. They had everything you could have thought of to use, if you decided to stay in cook. The host was very friendly and easily to get in touch with. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Both this location and Lauren as a host deserve 10 stars. The cabin is very well located and well stocked. The rooms are well distributed and there’s enough room to spend time with the family. Lauren went above and beyond during our stay as we encountered an unexpected delay in getting to the cabin. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location and hope we can book in the future again :)

The house is fantastic. The layout with the open kitchen, living room & dining room with the fantastic view is great. The bedrooms & baths were also well laid out. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our group had a wonderful time in this beautiful mountain get-away.

I can’t say enough good things about this house. It was perfect for our family mountain weekend with ages 1-70. The home had comfortable beds, was spacious, well furnished, excellent location very close to Blowing Rock, breath taking views, and excellent owner communication. We would love to stay here again!

First, the view! Right as you walk through the door, you take in a breathtaking view of mountain vistas through the windows that line the wall ahead of you. Our group loved sitting on the upper-level deck and enjoying that view throughout our stay. Second, the house was clean, nicely decorated and spacious enough for our family group that included 10 people. We were very close to Blowing Rock, so exploring there was easy. Boone was only a tad farther. One note: The road to the house is paved but a very winding, steep climb -- we were glad we had all-wheel drive, although others in our group that didn't have it said they had no problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this house highly.

The house was perfect for our large group! Very clean upon arrival. Host was great to work with. No issues at all! The views are AMAZING!! Porches are lovely. Everyone in our group was very happy with the home. Hope to come again soon!

We spent 4 days at this home with our kids and grandkids. It’s a beautiful home with a lot of space! With so many people it was nice to have the room to spread out. The kitchen is as well stocked , so that made cooking easy! The views from the decks were great! We loved watching the deer eat in the backyard and the three bears that ate daily in the meadow in the distance. Definitely check into staying at this property if you’re looking for a spacious and clean home!

We just spent a long weekend at this home in App Ski Mountain. Our family included ages ranging from 15-75. This home was perfect for us because of the ease to move about and spend time together while allowing everyone space to rest and relax. It was a quick drive to Boone, Blowing Rock & App State too! The spectacular views allowed us to do extended family pictures right in the long driveway with stunning views behind us! Definitely recommend this home and would stay here again!!! Communication was quick and efficient too!!!

What a wonderful cabin! I could have spent the entire weekend sitting on the deck (views are very high on my priority list when visiting the mountains). Very pretty sunrise views if getting up early is your thing. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking 2 meals in. Beds were comfy, and the kids loved the bunk beds. Easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock.. you can even hear the train at Tweetsie!! (If you are unfamiliar, tweetsie is a little railroad amusement park.. the train only operates during the day during park hours so it is not bothersome during the night) There is plenty of room for multiple cars to park. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful mountain adventure at this beautiful new house that has an incredible view of the mountains and valleys from the large back decks! Owners are very responsive to any needs/issues.

Perfect!!
We were a family of 8 adults and 2 children. The house was perfect! We actually had a spare bedroom. Beautiful views from the deck. The house was very roomy - perfect layout and enough privacy for everyone.
Lauren was great to work with. Excellent communication! Boone and Blowing Rock both have tons to do for every interest. We had lots of laughs and made great memories!

Everything was great except
Everything was great except not being able to use water like we needed. We were asked to limit our water usage after the previous renters had run the well dry, so we did. (Taking short showers, used paper and plastic water, limited clothes washing...) and still ran out of water. The owner did have someone come refill the tank the next day, but we still had to limit our water usage. And they did not offer us a discount or offer to pay for any water we had to buy to flush the toilets or use to clean up with. The property was a fabulous location. Once the water problems is solved well worth it.

We rented the house two weeks ago and kept saying "wow" with every room we entered. It was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and brilliantly arranged. Two master suites on the main level are perfect for the two oldest generations while the grands and great grands stayed on the lower level in their family suites. We cooked several meals there and had all we needed in the kitchen. Ample supply of paper products and toiletries were a plus as well as various age range toys.
We had a question upon arrival and Lauren responded immediately for a quick resolution. Amply parking accommodated our four SUVs and truck. Kiddos playing hide and seek under the beds brought out zero dust bunnies. The only hiccup was flat pillows - but who can anticipate the pillow height desires of all guests?!

Perfect Place to Celebrate!
Perfect place to celebrate our 30 year anniversary with our close friends. Everyone had their own bathroom and space to rest. Very close to downtown Blowing Rock but we didn’t leave the house for very long!
