The property is ideally situated in a remote but beautiful location, very quiet and scenic

This was a very cold cottage, with limited heating facilities ie 1 small portable hearter in lounge, also 1 in the kitchen, also 1 in the bedroom. The cottage was very draughty but worse of all it was also extremely dirty. One of the ceiling panels had fallen in the lounge and 2 others were hanging down and could have caused serious injury if they had fallen while we were there. THERE IS IVY GROWING THROUGH THE CEILING/WALL TO THE REAR OF THE UPPER LOUNGE. We were unable to use the downstairs bedroom due to the amount of dirt and grime on the bedstead. The Toilet seat was partially detached, the landing curtains were just hanging due to missing/broken hooks, dining and lounge chairs were damaged with planks of wood being used in the lounge chair to support the cushion. The cooker and grill were full of grime and grease to such an extent that the grill could not be used. Some of the formica tops had peeled away from the base and were standing proud up to 2" high. The window in the downstairs bathroom could not be closed, there were 3 lights bulbs missing on arrival. There is a 2" gap and a hole under the front door and around the side causing extreme draught. The log fire is insufficient to heat such a cold draughty cottage in the Spring or Winter months. There were no logs or firelighters for us to use to try and keep us warm on our first night in the property.

Poor road into property. Two bad mattresses and falling apart chairs
