Høj service og skønt personale. Både Tom og hans ansatte var super venlige. Beliggenheden var for os helt i top. Masser gode restauranter og strande både nord for og syd for. Vi vil anbefale at leje en scooter hos Tom, da det er den mest tilgængelige transportmulighed.

I had two beautiful weeks there, I enjoyed the swimming pool and the solitude that the villas provide. Tom, the main man

I didn’t have the opportunity to stay in the actual hotel, I stayed at the villas which were located a bit more far from the main village. The villa I stayed was quite basic. Comfortable for me that I was never there!

The location is not convenient if you want to move around Srithanu quite often even though they provide an e-bike for you for free and they make your stay much better.

Exceptional hospitality and service!

Tom is one of a kind! In Shanti hotel exceptional hospitality and service is provided. Tom goes over and beyond to make sure that you have a comfortable stay and all your needs are met. The room I stayed in was simple but had everything in it one would need, also for a longer stay. The hotel provides free tuk-tuk rides within 1km which I ended up using every day. The food in the restaurant is delicious. The hotel is located by street which at first glance may look that it would be noisy, but it is not - very quiet at night. I also never heard the neighbors from other rooms. Thank you tons, Tom, for your kindness and world’s best hospitality!

Recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Shanti Boutique Hotel. Great location, new restaurant at the venue, necessary services like laundry/transportation/scooter are offered at the hotel. Tom and his staff were friendly, helpful and kind.

Exceptional

The owner of the hotel was the kindest and most helpful person we have met during our time in Thailand. He gave us very helpful pointers on where to go and even offered to give me a scooter-lesson for free as he had the time to do so. Furthermore, he even asked us if we are okay via WhatsApp on days during which we went out with the scooter to make sure we are safe. The rooms are simple but very cosy and clean, and it's nice that they come with a balcony. The location is great as well, you can either walk to the next beach (which offers an awesome atmosphere especially during sunset) in (I would guess) 10 minutes or take one of the hotel's bicycles (for free!) to be there in 3 minutes. There are also many cafés and restaurants that offer super tasty food with a lot of variety. Thus, I can absolutely recommend this place. if we come back to Thailand, we will choose this hotel again. :)

Pleasant, chilled and enjoyable.

The property was nicely located. The staff were kind and helpful. They offer a rent a bike service which is very useful as the island is quite spread out. There is a nice outdoor restaurant on the property where you can enjoy some food. (We only got time to have a drink but would’ve liked to try the food). Also, the owner offered to drive us to nearby places if we needed which would be great for anyone not comfortable driving a bike.

The property was very good overall. The water in the shower, wasn’t overly hot. We also had some ants in our room but not a huge amount.

Great

We stayed in a bungalow and enjoyed our stay there. Each day the hotel provided transport to take us where we wanted to go. The staff were amazing especially Tom and Mr Wat. We always knew that they would go out of their way if needed to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Peaceful guesthouse close to many awesome restaurants in Shri Thanu

Fantastic staff, all very friendly and welcoming. A nice location close to Sri Thanu. Comfortable bed and clean linen. I didn’t eat leaks there but restaurant looked good as well.

Very good

What we appreciated the most was Tom's kindness and hospitality. We got a lot of rain during our stay and he was very comprehensive and empathic with us. The room was nice as expected and location close to beaches and restaurants. Thank you Tom for your help!

Expensive and disappointing

I wish I could write a good review as the owner seemed so nice but unfortunately this place was so expensive for what it was and so disappointing. We had the family suite which was basically the owners living quarters. The bathroom had mould and no toilet paper. The pillows smelt and two days after we left I have got head lice. I really can’t think where else I would have gotten from. There was building work going on right next to one bedroom that started at 8:30am. It cost me $150!!! I would not recommend.

Good

Tom the manager was very helpful. We requested a mosquito net and he got one especially for us. He also provided cutlery and some bowls when we asked. I was expexting a package to be delivered and he delt with the communication on my behalf. The room was also lovely and it was great to have fresh towels etc whenever we needed. There are several lovely cats living at the property also. The only issue we had was that unfortunately there were building works happening next door, which overlooked our balcony. This is not the fault of the hotel however but it did make our trip less relaxing and our room felt less homely and peaceful than other places we had stayed. I would however really recommend this little hotel. Its in a great location, with some delicious and low cost food places to eat traditional Thai food. Also the beaches are lovely, especially Chaloklum just up the coast.

Superb

The manager Tom is very friendly and helpful🙏 The cafe at the hotel is nice too) The location was good for me, not far from the beaches( Sri Thanu and Zen)- about 10 minutes wallking). Also not far from all the cafes and yoga places)

The construction next door going on, so maybe it will be over when you come to visit the island) or you can choose rooms viewing the other side it will be ok too)

I had a fabulous week staying at Shanti!

Everything! First and foremost Mr Tom and his team of staff are so kind and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, big bed and lovely outdoor area. The restaurant and small bar area is a quiet and relaxing area to chill. For me the location I liked as easy to walk everywhere.

Superb

The kindness of Tom during all my stay was beyond. He even offered me to text him while staying at a retreat resort in Koh Pha Ngan if something was needed. The location is perfect, quiet and at the same time I was able to walk to the main street in front of the Zen beach and to other coffee shops very good around the area. Some details are also grab my attention, for example an umbrella for each guest. Highly recommended!

this is on a really nice part of the island - a quick was or bike ride and you are near Orion healing center, one yoga, and many cute cafes and restaurants. the staff is really kind and accommodating. it felt peaceful here. thank you!

Exceptional

Lovely accommodation. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Exceptional bathroom with plenty of hot water and great pressure in the shower. The host is super helpful, learnt us a push bike and a scooter and could speak English. A short walk to the beach, healing & yoga centres, restaurants, fruit shop and familymart.

We thought it was perfect. Our children wanted a pool and to be closer to the beach.

Simple but very nice hotel, close to the beach and Orion center for yoga :) super confy bed.

unfortunately there were some construction works just next door during my stay so the noise was too much. but I guess they are done already. some noise from the cars as well..

Manager, Tam, was super helpful and very friendly. we had a small issue with a noisy air conditioner and we're offered an upgraded room, however the issue was fixed quickly. a great location, close to Srithanu village and a short walk to Zen Beach. Also quite close to Secret Beach and Koh Raham, (both of which are highly recommended) thanks Tam for a great stay
