The hotel was excellent. The service from the entire staff was exceptional. The pool was incredible, and the rooftop was beautiful. It is located just two blocks from the beach. The breakfast was exceptional—incredible and delicious. The food and drinks offered great value for money. The room was super comfortable, clean, and very modern. We felt completely at ease and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The buffet breakfast was top tier, as well as all the staff and amenities and although very secluded by day, everything well worth the walk... Highly recommend.

Lovely looking Architecture. Great interior decoration in the shared areas and the rooms. A very large bed with very clean and comfortable bedding. Lovely ensuite bathroom with a large round jet bath. Cafes and restaurants were only open for a very limited time. The food average to poor. Breakfast was a very limited order service with wait staff that struggled to understand the order. Buffet was only available on the week end and was quite limited. The roof top pool was lovely with a great view of the surrounding area. The rooftop bar is only open for a few hours and can barely order much from there. The massage at the Spa on site was very good. Fireworks on the beach on the weekend can be viewed from the rooftop. The staff was friendly but could not communicate in English very well.

Night time Rave/outdoor nightclub on the beach a few blocks away. Pounding music/bass from about 7 p.m. - after midnight. EVERY NIGHT! So loud that your windows rattle if you close them. Fireworks on the beach on the weekend- so loud that it wounds like gunfire and bombs going off with no warning. 10 p.m onwards. There is barely anything open around this hotel. A bit of a dodgy element in some of the surrounding streets. Short ride vehicles to go sight seeing in surrounding area trying to scam tourists and harass them constantly. Cafes and restaurants in the hotel were only open for a very limited time. The food average to poor. Very high prices for the area. Breakfast was a very limited order service with wait staff that struggled to understand the order. Buffet was only available on the week end and was quite limited. The rooftop bar is only open for a few hours and can barely order much from there. None of the cocktails prepared were using the correct spirits. The shower over the bath sprays wide enough to wet most of the bathroom and toilet. When checking out, were were told to wait in reception. Then a cleaner radioed down and said that the bathroom mat was too dirty and needed to be replaced $60 USD. We were surprised and asked why and they said that we had worn shoes in the bathroom and that dirt had come off on the mat. The manager then waited to inspect the mat before leaving. (Dirt that comes off in the wash... no stains). The manager then agreed that if could just be washed. (I stood on the mat to wipe the water off the bathroom floor, after the shower sprayed throughout the bathroom). Not a very nice end to the trip, considering we had stayed for a long time paying high rates for services in the middle of nothing to do or see.
