We were very lucky to get there when we did as there was a religious festival taking place that weekend and most of the roads were shut for pedestrians. The road where the apartment was also shut, but we moved the barriers out of the way. Absolutely lovely apartment - both bedrooms were made up and had double beds in each. Great location, but somewhat noisy at 3am due to the festival. It didn't bother me as I was in the back room, but it was 'earplugs in' if you were in the bedroom that overlooked the road. It didn't upset us too much as we were so happy to have witnessed the festival and the earplugs did the job. This would not be a problem under 'normal' times. One of the highlights of our Spanish road trip. Would definitely recommend the apartment and Jaen is well worth a visit!

No kettle! Us Brits like a cup of tea in the morning! Unfortunately we rely too much on smart phones and sat navs that when roads are closed, all information in relation to directions go out of the window. It was difficult trying to explain to the Spanish Police why we had driven down a closed road! Getting to the car park after dropping our bags off also took some navigating! I am sure all would be well as long as you don't arrive at festival time or if you can speak fluent Spanish!

The location and parking was perfect as was the standard of the appartment. Bed was perfect as was the TV.

An electric kettle and a small pot would have been ideal for tea/coffee. Perhaps a welcome pack with milk, water etc. It felt a bit basic and wanting on little items around the kitchen.

The locality is nice and calm. Eva is a great host. She is very caring and helpful person. There was no problem with wifi. Clean and modern apartman.

Eva is very helpful and nice person. She did everything to make our stay comfortable. We were in touch all the time and she answered every of our question. The apartment is cosy and the location is great.

Eva has been a great host. She even helped us find something to do with kids in Jaén. We can highly recomend this flat and host.

Parking is a nightmare. Even just getting to the apartment is tricky given the one-way system in Jaen. Kitchen was very poorly equipped.

A wonderful stay in Jaén. The apartment was much bigger than we had thought and it was a gem of a place, recently redone (or built?), it was everything it could be. We were really very satisfied with it.

Just two reminders: 1. To travellers - the owners like using the Spanish apps "Bizum" for a €60 deposit which is refunded once you leave the apartment. We did not know this in advance, but were able to do everything by bank transfer. 2. To the hosts - how about putting a couple of blankets in for the night. The air conditioning is wonderful, but does work overtime. ;-)
