We had such a lovely stay at Apartment Giordana. We were a close, easy walk Old Town without being right in the busy Old town itself. Very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would need. Easy to eat in with a small supermarket with most things you would need, just a 2 minute walk around the corner. Ivana our host was so welcoming and gave us awesome tips for places to see and directions to get there. Very thorough walk through when we arrived. We were more than happy without stay. Beaches for afternoon swims or a drink at a bar. Great views of the ocean right out our window.

The apartment was excellent. Exceptionally clean with separate A/Cs in all of the rooms. It had everything we needed (including a washing machine). Parking is on-street, but, the host made sure we had a space right in front of the apartment. The view of the sea from the apartment was also amazing. The Dubrovnik old city is a short bus ride away.

The owner, Ivanka, was incredibly gracious and helpful. Having lived in Canada, her English is impeccable. She has provided lots of books and pamphlets about local sites, and she was very generous in giving her time to explain details of transportation, special places to check out, and how to avoid problems like overpricing and crowds.
The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated, and well-appointed with everything you would need, even for a stay of several days. The view of the sea is beautiful and relaxing. The bathroom and kitchen have been renovated, and all the appliances are very modern and well-maintained.
We were there during the worst of summer heat, but once inside the apartment everything was beautifully cool. The shower in the bathroom was ultra modern- – you could set the water to come out straight from the wall, or above your head, or by using a handheld wand. There was also a washing machine that cleaned our clothes in 30 minutes. Because it is so sunny, we were able to hang our laundry on an indoor rack next to the window and it all dried that day.
The kitchen had an induction cooktop with high quality cookware and a dishwasher. And for fun, the light over the cooktop could be adjusted to several different colors. You could set it to be a purple or blue or red night light!
There were two spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage and real beds-- no pull out couches here.
Ivanka recommended a small but comprehensively stocked grocery store just a 5-minute walk away. People there spoke perfect English and were very helpful in describing and recommending products that were new to us.
Fun fact; various herbs grew wild along the sidewalks. We picked some fennel to use in cooking and it was lovely.
We would have liked to be in the heart of Old Town. But you would never find something there as modern and as well priced as Apartment Giordano.
Travelers should note that the apartment is about 15 steps below street level. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you.
