Location great; facilities feel fresh, new, clean. Liked the common area with a gas fireplace, wine and beer taps, snacks for purchase and free coffee and tea; loved the Cornell school spirit! Friendly staff delivered a package to my room rather than waiting for me to come down for it- was appreciated!
Room needs luggage stand, iron/ironing board; mattress needs to be shifted (one side was saggy); wish front desk could have been more helpful about walking path nearby, local restaurants (I did ultimately get some suggestions but staff seemed stumped at first) Maybe some local maps of campus or the commons and a list of nearby recommended restaurants on hand would help!

I loved the location of The Dorm given I wanted to walk the Cornell Campus on 9/10 after a business meeting in the evening of 9/9. I was pleased there was free parking available. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Given the room was supposed to be a dorm room - it met all my expectations. I'd say for me, my stay there was largely due to its proximity to the Cornell Campus. I think if I stay next time, I'd prefer a room on the top floor, the person who stayed in the room above me was rather loud.
The gentleman that checked me in wasn't very friendly. He explained where my room was, but it wasn't very clear to me. And it wasn't clear to me that I would need to walk up a small set of stairs with luggage that was heavy. The gentleman that checked me in did help with bringing my suitcase up the set of stairs; I appreciated that. Next time I'd prefer to stay on the top floor so I could wheel my luggage to the main entry and use the elevator (no stairs). I'm not a wine or beer drinker; a better selection of non-alcoholic drinks would have been nice.

It's cute and close to campus and has parking, but it's more like dorms than a hotel
The bed is extremely high, there is no table or a chair in the room and no fridge. The space is comfortable but small. Some rooms are located right in the lobby and are very noisy given that the place functions as a bar until 10pm. The stuff doesn't really enforce the quiet time after 10 pm. I was downstairs where the rooms are relatively far away and quiet. There is a steep climb to either campus or down town
