Sauberkeit - Staub am Boden/Dreck, Geruch beim Eintreten, sehr einfach Möbel/Betten. Ein Duvet war roch nicht frisch, Küche mit offenem Boden in Ecke (Feuchtigkeitsschaden), die Handtücher waren muffig.

The apartment was a 5 minute walk from the train station, and a 5 minute walk to the town center. The rooms were all very large and comfortable and the windows gave a great view of the street below (we had a 2nd floor unit). There was a pool table in the apartment, but house rules limited the playing hours from 9a-9p so we never used it. We traveled to Koblenz to ride the Cable Car (gondola) over the river up to the castle on the hills high above the city. And to take a castle river boat cruise. We walked to both departure points from the apartment. There were also numerous good restaurants with a short walk. And my wife and I felt completely safe during our entire stay.

This was only the 2nd time I used Booking.com and I didn't know that I would not receive specific check-in instructions by email. I did receive some information with the code to open a lock box, but not specifics like where to find the door. This was the same experience we had using the app for the previous apartment I rented a few days earlier so I wasn't alarmed. We just went to the unit and then looked for the box. But we couldn't find the door. So I contacted the owner and she explained how to get in. Later I checked the app and found the explicit instructions there. So I don't blame the owner. It is just not the same as VRBO or AirBnB. And for whatever reason, we could not find the WiFi password. But we had our own travel Router so we were able to get connected regardless. I would just recommend to write it on the blackboard with the house rules. That would have solved that mystery.

The apartment is spacious and big enough for 7 people. It has a huge kitchen which is suitable for cooking and spending time together. The rooms and the bathroom are also quite big. There is a board with recommendations what to do in Koblenz (Sightseeing, restaurants, bars etc.) The instructions how to enter the apartment were very precise and everything worked smoothly. The sofa bed and the additional mattress are ok for three nights. The owner was available when we had a problem.

The beds in the two bedrooms are very uncomfortable. The mattresses are very thin and soft and of cheap quality. We returned home with back pain. The kitchen is not fully equipped - even very basic things such as cups for tea or coffee are missing. The dishwasher was dirty when we arrived at the apartment. When we tried to use it, it didn't work. We called the owner, but it wasn't repaired during our stay. There were no utensils to clean the dishes by hand. At least the owner told us that we could leave the dishes uncleaned. There were not enough big towels for 7 people, even though we had asked in advance.

Other bed was broken,but owner fixed it quicly.
