Good value for money

Cosy, warm good location. Lots of walks. Nice friendly village. Local shop, pubs and Tesco 10 minutes away.

Hob didn’t work properly took ages to cook something. Around shower screen upstairs needed cleaning and there were 2 used plasters inside the washing machine.

Affordable property with some lovely dog walks close by

Lots of space, good selection of board games, convenient parking, lovely walks nearby, dog friendly, fresh clean bedding and towels, good supply of kitchen ware (cutlery, mugs, plates etc), love the coffee machine though the local Londis and Tesco don’t sell compatible pods (is there a recycling scheme for them?),

Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. Lots of old dust throughout the property including hanging from the ceilings and walls, very dusty lamps in bedrooms, front of cupboards and fridge in kitchen had stains on where things have been spilt (I wiped them off so very easy to do), old crumbs in fridge door compartments, seal around freezer door was pretty grim and full of black dirt. Not issues that effected my rating but constructive feedback: -Had read reviews about bins in bedrooms and bathroom and thought it was a negligible comment but actually it would have been convenient to have, especially with 2 teenage girls, there was no where to put sanitary products about from outside or kitchen bin which isn’t hygienic or practical. Would be useful to have, even if you asked for them to be emptied at the end of the stay. -Lounge area..the property can house 5 people so it would be comfier to have larger sofas in the lounge as it was a squeeze to get us all on as 4 adults. -More toilet roll -Larger dog bowls or just don’t say there are any..we have a Labrador and didn’t bring hers with it saying there was one but they were tiny so used her travel one)

Enjoyed a great weekend meeting up with family who live locally. Would stay again.

The location was perfect for visiting family who live in the area.

There was nothing we did not like.

Spacious property and good peaceful location

Spacious property, good location by the beach and very short drive from Tesco superstore (roughly 5 minutes). Very peaceful location. Mostly well equipped kitchen, and enjoyed the use of the French press and and milk frother. Very good property for families with older children (due to the steep stairs).

Although the kitchen was well equipped, it was a shame we were unable to use the complimentary Nescafé machine as it was unclean. Additionally, it would be nice to have had bins upstairs and a toaster in the kitchen. Lastly, at times the WIFI was unreliable.

Will definitely return to haverigg, possibly not this property sadly due to next door

Very spacious and near the centre/beach. Brilliant location and mostly clean. Great having two bathrooms. Mostly quiet neighbourhood.

We had to wash pans and cutlery. It smelt as though somebody had been smoking in the lounge, but may have been from next door. The kitchen hot tap stopped working. The outside bin was full. Sadly and no fault of the property the house next door to the main bedroom on the right had a TV on loud until the early hours and again early morning.

Bed in the main bedroom was horrible 2 single mattress with topper on Topper slipped every night Very uncomfortable

A great located and equipped cottage, but spoilt by the quality of the beds!

The bed mattresses were really poor quality, making for poor sleeping. Plus the boiler only supplied intermittent hot water, so the showers cycled through hot, cold, hot, cold, hot, cold, etc.

Overall place is nice let down by being dirty.

The place was dirty, an old sock behind a door, popcorn on the floor and a sugar sachet in the bed, large spider web in main bedroom, stain on bedding and boiler capacity so low hot water for a few seconds, then cold, then hot, and repeat. Old burnt chips in the oven and greasy pan

Lovely stay!

The location was absolutely perfect and the house had been renovated to a good standard. The home was really clean, kitchen sponges and towels were laid out fresh for our stay, which was really nice. We had a problem in the house, but Lucy was really responsive and it was sorted out within a few hours. It was only a short walk to the beach and the nature reserve and an hour from Windermere.

There were a few cleaning issues, like pan lids with bits of food on, but it was easy enough to clean. The stairs are really steep so not suitable for people with mobility issue, but I live in a victorian terrace so OK for me. There are a couple of areas that could do with touching up, but overall it was a beautiful home, and for the price, it was well worth the stay!

Very good

Well equipped and spacious. Short walk to the beach and great walks. Parking outside on the street. Comfortable and clean.

It would have been good to have a table with lamp in the front room. TV would be better on a stand as it was too high on the wall for comfortable watching.

The house was lovely and comfortable. It had a well equipped kitchen including welcoming tea, coffee and biscuits

It would have been better if there had been a small bin in the bathroom. Also as the television didn't seem to have an aerial you could only watch programmes through streaming them, which meant you couldn't watch the local news as the television had been set up as HD which doesn't show local news.

Weekend getaway.

Spacious properties with plenty of room.

Some of the lamps and lights were not working, think need to change some bulbs. I also got stuck in the downstairs loo, until I worked out it was the bracket underneath the door that had twisted around. The curtains in the middle bedroom were not smooth running and difficult to close and open. These are all very small things that can be fixed I'm sure.

Absolutely perfect!

Beautiful cottage, in a lovely location. Really welcoming touches and a fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable, rooms are large and tastefully decorated. We had the most perfect family time here.Parking is easy, and the neighbours are really sweet!

We had no problems and certainly have no complaints. Will be back in the future,thanks so much!
