Excellent location. Close enough to 5th Ave, but still away from the noise. Close to other amenities like laundry, fruteria's local shops etc. Place was nice and clean. Filtered water provided. Secure building. Quick responses to our email questions from management but cleaner spoke no English. Nice roof top patio.
Sufficient kitchen amenities were lacking. Literally only 2 cups, plates, forks, knives and spoons were provided. One burner small hotplate. A mini fridge was there but the freezer was all iced up so couldn't put anything in the freezer. Kettle was there but didn't work. Did ask for it to be changed but the subsequent ones only worked for one or two days and then stopped working. They replaced 2 kettles which didn't work. The 3rd one broke down after 2 days! The last two weeks we had no kettle at all as the management could not provide us with a working one. In fact they even asked us to pay for a new kettle, which we refused since it was not our fault the kettles being provided did not work. One night I was woken up by water dripping over my head. The AC leaked and wet all the sheets and pillows during the night. It could not be fixed so we were sent to another room the next day. No apologies given. All the rooms had a window facing the hallway which people had to go through to enter their room. This was very inconvenient as we had to keep the blinds down the whole time so could not see any daylight at all. Considering we were staying there for a month this was very annoying.
