The location was fine. A fifteen minutes bus ride to Brighton center. If you are taking the bus, ask for a Saver ticket. Tickets slightly less than a return but allows you unlimited travel on any bus of the same company.

I didn't like that it is advertised as a two bathroom property when it isn't. It has a shower room on the top floor but no w.c. The second w.c. is on the lower floor. A walk down a steep flight of stairs in the dark. In fact I fell down two of the stairs on a nightgown visit to the loo. Also there was evidence of damp throughout the property and it looked like a D.I.Y. Job trying to cover it up. Having said all that, it could be a lovely place if the owner out a w.c. upstairs and employed a professional builder.

The house was very clean and the bedrooms were comfortable and of good size. The property was situated in a good location.

The lounge and the garden also smaller than expected. The blinds and the television were broken on arrival which meant that the rooms were too light in the morning and we could not use the television at all. When I asked for the security deposit back I was informed I could not due to the blinds and the television despite a review from October stating the blinds were broken then too. I would not stay in this property again due to this.

Breakfast was not included. Comfortable clean and the location.

Our stay was marred by finding on our arrival no blind at the window of the back bedroom on the first floor. The broken blind had been left against the wall next to the window ! On reporting this we were told someone will come by the next day to fit a temporary blind, on our return to the premises later in the day the blind did not cover the window so again we had no privacy to the room ! Also the back bedroom on the 2nd floor had no chain to the blind at all to close or open and the front bedroom window had chains on the floor so again could not raise the blind. This was very disappointing as surely if such a large deposit is required when booking why was this not checked before our arrival ! I wish this to be brought to the attention of the owner as this did affect our stay and believe we are entitled to some refund. I look forward to your reply. Regards Andrew & Janet Norman
