Great location on three acres in a rainforest setting very private

Fanpalm Creek Hideaway was absolutely perfect for us. The house and grounds are huge and very private, enabling us to enjoy the sounds of the rainforest. It was very clean and well-equipped and we really appreciated Karen's warm welcome. We loved our stay. We thought the accommodation was going to be good but it far exceeded our expectations.
There was nothing that we didn't like...apart from having to leave!

This accommodation right in the middle of the daintree rainforest is a perfect place to calm down and from here you can do any activity in and around the rainforest

The house is beautifully decorated. The indoor outdoor dining was a special highlight. The strip of native vegetation along the driveway, including the little stream was filled with wildlife. We even saw a fresh-water eel right next to the house! Really amazing!

very peaceful and relaxing stay. I loved the quietness and sounds of bird’s especially in the morning
there is no mobile reception to make/receive phone calls which made it challenging to connect with local tour operators, but occasionally got a text message come through

Acreage cabin surrounded by rainforest. very private and quiet. They took on my fragrance allergies seriously. Good Internet. good example of of grid living. fridge,stove & oven and barbecue. Host, Karen was lovely. Great value for money.
We happened to arrive during a cold snap so needed to use the oven to warm up the living space. Perhaps a small indoor dining table would be useful in winter if the outdoor lounge room is too cold.

Amazing location, we had everything we needed at the property. The communication with Karen was exceptional and the property was immaculate.

We enjoyed being in a house right in the Daintree Rainforest. Our favourite part was sitting outside on the patio in the morning and late afternoon listening to the birds. We also got a special treat (Cassowary visited us in the backyard). Karen was very helpful and friendly. She has a book full of great suggestions on boardwalks and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Karen
