Hudson is a really nice place to visit, the property is very stylish and in a great location. The balcony/porch is a lovely place to sit and spot fireflies.
It was very hot when we visited and whilst the air conditioning was hugely welcome, we had no control over it within our apartment. At night it was freezing, and as I am a light sleeper, I found it very difficult to get to sleep due to the noise of the air blowing in through the vents. This was the only issue and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Room was a good size, well appointed, nice amenities and really comfortable beds. Staff was kind and accommodating. Easy to walk to from the train station.
Unfortunately, we could hear everything from the room directly above ours. It was not the fault of the property that the guests above us had children that were running around and singing late into the night and then early again in the morning. It was bothersome and a bit disruptive.

Convenience and setting
Access was problematical, as we could not receive text messages on international phones, and had to resort to friendly storekeepers to make contact with hosts, who were not on the premises.

What breakfast? There wasn’t any.
We were unaware that we would be parking on the street. It didn’t feel safe. We heard people arguing outside around midnight. We weren’t prepared for the sketchy neighborhood.
