Sadly, the heatwave did not made the experience good for us

The place was fairly clean, and had a good size for what we wanted that weekend, sadly it was during a heatwave so the heat itself made the experience way worse than we expected. Overall: the bathroom had a good size, the bed's where ok, although my wife's mattress seems to be different than mine, and she did not liked her's, and the place was equipped with everything that we needed to have.

The bedroom was located in the second floor, which was significantly hoter than the ground and first floor, at least 5 degrees higher. The bedroom had two large windows, so large that if we opened up, we could only stay layed down in our beds, otherwise we would have hit our heads in it, and one of windows when oppened, smashed right into the closet door, making it unusable. They we're nice enough to bring a small fan, and leave it on the table while we were out, although there was no previous warning or request from our side, it felt odd that they just got into our place with our belongings there, without us being present. Lastly, the place was clean, but the cutlery not so much, we needed to wash again, and it was missing some amenities for that purpose which sucks to have to purchase just for one weekend, the dish soap for example. The bathroom sink also was stuck and could not drain water, later that same day when we went out, apparently they fixed it, but then it started to leak below the sink. I don't know what to say. I would not stay there again if I have the extra budget to be somewhere slightly more comfortable, sadly the heatwave made our experience be much worse that it can be, but I can see how this property would suit well a couple traveling for a (not too hot) weekend, on a budget.

Some Areas Needing Attention

It had cooking gears.

Our recent stay had a few aspects that could be refined. We found the room initially lacked towels and soap. We personally prefer white bed covers for a cleaner feel, and the pillow and blanket were not the most comfortable, with the pillow having a noticeable scent. The bathroom experienced a clogged shower, and we did notice some cockroaches during our stay. Additionally, the windows were not easy to open. We hope these observations can help the property make improvements for future guests.

Grande salle de bain et douche. Équipement minimal mais suffisant. A mi distance entre centre ville de Cologne et Phantasialand. Proche de commerces et de point de restauration.

Rajouter du liquide vaisselle, des sacs poubelles et éventuellement des serviettes de douche. Les oreillers sont pas mal usés.
