Airport one station hometel - Suvarnabhumi - SHA Extra Plus

Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the first stop after the airport . Aircraft noise will be a problem for light sleepers otherwise it is excellent value if you need easy access to airport .

There was a severe flood in Bangkok City when we arrived. Basically, most of the roads were covered in water at that time. However, the host drove to the train station to pick us up, and she took us back to the station the next day. It was very heartwarming. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers who plan to stay one night around the airport

Staff is considerate and helpful. Just be advised that there is nobody at the front desk after hours. Passive ventilation in the bathroom prevents mold. And there is no chemical stench from the furniture, flooring, or anything else. (They use natural wood and tiles.)

Wicker sandals were provided but they were used by previous guests. Used sandals should not be provided at all. Anyone who requires them can bring their own. The location on the Booking.com map is actually wrong. It's a few streets to the west. In fact it's actually a shorter walk to the train station than the map shows. The hot water takes several minutes to reach the shower. That's alright but guests should be made aware of this. A sign on the wall would help.

No breakfast

Noisy from the elevated main road. Lot of traffic.
