Location.
We stayed in this apartment in Porto for three nights. Although it looks very attractive in the photos, in reality we found it much less practical and comfortable.
The apartment is essentially one large room, with the kitchen and bathroom built into the space and a bunk bed placed above them. There are simply too many things squeezed into the room — two tables, an armchair, a sofa, kitchen chairs, lamps and other objects — which makes the space feel crowded and impractical.
The upper bed is very high and accessed via extremely steep, V-shaped steps. A person of average height has to bend down to get into bed, and getting down at night to use the bathroom can genuinely be dangerous.
The upper sleeping area is also very stuffy. The air conditioning does not cool it properly, while opening the window is difficult because of the constant street noise. When the window is open, strong smells from the barbecue restaurant opposite come in, along with loud party noise that continues late into the night.
The listing also advertises a beautiful city view from the balcony. In reality, the balcony is extremely narrow and the view is mostly of run-down buildings and ruins. I will attach a photo to illustrate this.
Overall, this is a case where the stylish design looks much better in the photos than it works in practice. The space feels overcrowded, uncomfortable and not well suited for a relaxing stay.

The location is amazing distance walk from everything
The mezzanine roof is really low. The 3rd bed was not balanced as is has only two legs in the middle, if you roll to the edges at night you would fall down.
