An amazing and unique experience due to the staff and the accomodation

Extreamly bad, do not recommend!

As soon as we arrived to “Kuća za odmor Tupek”, a strong mouldy smell was in all rooms, particularly in the bedrooms. It was disgusting and very unhealthy. The house was very old, badly furnished and uncomfortable. There was zero Wi-Fi access, even though wi fi code was sellotaped to the cupboard. We tried the mattresses, they were very hard and uncomfortable, much harder than sleeping on the futon on the floor. The little house is situated on a very busy road, with constant heavy traffic noise and pollution. The owner runs a restaurant several meters away, across the road, so again, there was a lot of noise from there too. We asked the owner about Wi-Fi , at first they claimed it was only a temporary problem and that it should be coming back soon. Later he claimed that they didn’t offer Wi-fi at all, yet couldn’t explain why they sellotaped the wi fi password to the cabinet. We were very shocked by what they were offering and realised that we couldn’t possibly stay there for 2 nights that we had originally booked. I told the owner that we would leave as soon as we were able to find alternative accommodation. We also spoke with booking.com several times. They were unable to help us in any way. The owner claimed he didn’t speak a word of English. At first he said that he would give us our money back for both nights. Then several minutes later, he said he would only refund us half of the money. I actually agreed that paying for 1 night (although we were inside the premises for just over an hour) would have been fair for both parties. Following day I received an email from booking .com stating that the owner changed his mind again, and decided to charge us for both nights. This is clearly not an honourable man.
