Home was very beautiful and views were exquisite. Would like to have more than 1 tv and to know in advance the beds were firm. Had a hard time sleeping.

Was a nice quiet weekend! We read the guest book when we arrived and had taken the recommendation from another visitor to try one of the local Cuban restaurants and visited some nearby waterfalls. The property was nice and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for!

Everything was great: Plenty of space, furnishings were wonderful, kitchen was well equipped. The trash can was very difficult to access!

It is a beautiful home with a great wrap around deck. The view was gorgeous and the birds talking to each other was nice. The open kitchen, dining and living room was very nice. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting a comfortable mountain home experience.

Nice,middle aged home,on top of the mountain. Has everything you need,if you want to be a homebody. Lots of outdoor activities if you’re interested. Enjoyed the stay.

We loved our time in Sky Valley. The home is spacious with a large deck and lots of comfortable patio furniture to enjoy morning tea and end of the day sunsets. The kitchen is stocked with everything the chef in your party will need. The layout of the home is wonderful with each bedroom opening to the outside deck. We loved it, thank you.

Our family was fortunate enough to stay at this beautiful, mountain home at the top of Sky Valley, and it was amazing. Not only did they provide coffee and condiments and the other little things you so often don't think of grabbing or buying on an extended vacation away from home, but they even texted to check in during our stay to see how things were. The level of service was fantastic, and the view of the mountains was breathtaking.
While we were there, we did the Mountain Screamer at Highlands Outpost, as well as tubing, saw a movie in Franklin, went down to Dillard and played with the Goats on the Roof, and even did some shopping on Main Street in Highlands, NC. This location was central to everything fun to do with our kids and cousins who live in the area. Our family absolutely loved the hot tub, pool, gym, and other amenities available in Sky Valley.
Highly recommend this home and the owners. In fact, we already booked our trip and stay again for next year!

Beautiful view, very clean, so many extras I would never have anticipated. Definitely a return visit will have to occur. It's a great place for day trips as there is so many towns and hiking trails to visit.

The house was great. All the amenities were available. Comfortably slept 9 people. The view from the porch was amazing, both night and day. You could shut off the house lights and the stars were amazing.

We had a great time at this cabin. As a momma of 2 little ones, cleanliness is very important to me and this cabin was very clean and up to my standards :) there was plenty of space and BEAUTIFUL views from the deck! We enjoyed all there was to offer, including the generous treats from the host! I would strongly recommend this cabin to stay :)

My 2 friends and I have been making it a tradition to go away every year for what we call: Halloweekend! We found this listing after our usual lake rental sold. We were thrilled to find a new location in Sky Valley in what appeared to be peak color. What a perfect place for us! We each had our own bedroom with comfy beds and bedding. The seating inside and out was very comfortable and plentiful! Loved the fireplace. Kitchen was so well stocked and spacious and open to the den which is perfect for watching the game and cooking together. Parking was a breeze and I have a large pickup-so thank you! Can we talk about that back deck and view? WOW! It was stunning and so relaxing. The communication was excellent with owner and evolve contact. Wifi was excellent. There are instructions if you need to reset it. Thank you for the delicious coffee you provided, chocolates, honeybuns, and other various items such as nice body wash and shampoo in bathrooms. I’ve never rented a place with such a well stocked kitchen. Brand new appliances, very nice coffee maker, and even a great toaster oven! We felt very safe. There are neighbors nearby but far enough to keep things private which made us feel secure yet not isolated. I could go on and on….but I’ll just end by saying, it was an honor to be able to spend a weekend in your home. Thank you for sharing with us.

My wife and I were very pleased with the accommodations, the cleanliness and how well stocked this 3 bedroom mountain cabin was. We enjoyed the peace and serenity and the views from the large deck. We made excursions to local towns, Cherokee casino and our favorite was the town of Highlands with all it shops and restaurants. Highlands reminded us of Carmel by the Sea in California

Nice area and many things to do. However, the house was found with an uncleaned coffee maker and a filthy dirty toaster/air fryer oven. Other than that it was pleasant but would not go back to that exact location again

I can't say enough about this property. Everything was provided for us, the views were fantastic, and the house was beautiful! My family and friends had a great time! The owners had great communication and was very helpful and nice. Would love to stay again in the future sometime:):):)

Great cabin with beautiful deck
We had a lovely weekend with friends at this Sky Valley cottage. The house has a gorgeous deck with a beautiful view over the mountains, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or doing yoga in the mornings. There is also a grill and a lot of comfortable seating, which I think could be great for inviting friends or just eating dinner with everyone staying there. Each bedroom and the living room have large sliding glass doors onto the deck, so you can also enjoy the beautiful view from inside.
Some things I find important when looking for a place to stay with friends:
1) Lots of easy parking! So many mountain houses have really steep driveways or not enough space to park. This place can fit 3-4 cars depending on their size.
2) Everything was clean and comfortable. There were also plenty of amenities available, like coffee and extra towels. The beds were nice and the water pressure was great (another thing you don't always get!) The kitchen had all the appliances we needed.
3) There is plenty of seating in the living area, so everyone can hang out together comfortably.
There's a lot of stuff to do in the area, including a waterfall and trail at the base of the mountain, as well as a pool. We didn't get to do everything so we'll definitely be back. Overall, we highly recommend!

This lovely and affordable home is conveniently located in a beautiful resort near Dillard and Clayton. We met the owners upon arrival and they were most friendly and very accommodating to meet our needs. No complaints at all about our stay, only happy memories all around!

Perfect Mountain Top Experience
Spent a cold golf weekend with my adult children and a friend in this terrific Mountain Top rental... spectacular views, a sweet mountain course close by and the perfect accommodations. Everything was clean and fresh when we arrived. NO surprises!! The house is near the top of a beautiful ridge and less than 15 minutes from the Sky Valley Country Club Golf Course, a well maintained and "playable" mountain course. The house is more than comfortable, well appointed with a spacious master suite, and two additional bedrooms (all three open to a deck which runs the length of the house) and a terrifically well equipped kitchen. Had dinner the first evening in Dillard, otherwise we ate in and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We were warm and cozy the entire stay. We bought our groceries on the way up, but the grocery in Dillard is less than 20 minutes away. Our older son is already making plans to go back with his in-laws and the younger one wants it for a couples weekend. A multi-generational retreat!! Thanks Evolve!
