This condo offers a beautiful view of Little Lagoon, an outdoor pool, pier and boat launch, BBQ area, covered picnic area, and a beach area on the Lagoon-great for children! This building is located approximately three blocks from the Gulf. Things to Know This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 5. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We love staying at Compass Point and this unit did not disappoint! Love the pool, short walk to the beach (like 15 min) or a short drive.

I wish I could say I loved everything about this place, but I can't. The unit was o.k. but not very clean. The floors were in bad need of mopping. I will not go into the water problem on this page as they want a private feedback on the next page. Let's just say that I have not carried water to the house in over 60 years.

The living room balcony door was broke and could not be used and the inside pool was temporarily closed and had been for quite a while due to a previous hurricane. however Vacasa did not notify me of same until the day before my scheduled vacation. It would’ve been nice to be made aware of such matters when I initially booked my vacation. Communication with vacasa for rental purposes is horrible their response to me was that they have multiple rentals and are extremely busy. After booking I waited on hold over 30 minutes and finally sent text and email. They took over two weeks to reply to an email and text. I called their local office on my way to the rental with a few last minute questions and was on hold waiting over 12 minutes. Like the rental unit but will never rent a unit through Vacasa again. Horrible communication and horrible customer service.

We had a great stay at this condo. The location was awesome and only a 5 min walk to the beach. Quiet community and the sound side was really nice to wade out into. We had a few issues. The checkin would not let us in early even though we were there and the condo was ready. We just had to wait outside until our check in time. We also found several things not in working order at the condo, balcony door was not working and the front door was falling off its hinges. It closed and locked but the door had to be lifted to close properly. The other issue was the master bathroom was extremely small and was tight for even a small person. I would rent here again but wished the property was taken care of a little better. The floor was not that clean. In 2 hours a handy man could have made this an easy 5 star review.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, but whoever is cleaning the flooring is not doing a good job - our feet were black on the bottoms, but looking at the place it has a clean look😊. The flooring needs tended too!!!

All in all an enjoyable time here. Excellent air conditioning, tvs, and large appliances, and nicely clean. Would be 5/5 if living room balcony door operational.

This is your typical beach rental. The unit was clean, kitchen well stocked, etc. The location of the condo was off the beat and path, yet convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Great beach access and within walking distance if you choose to walk. We drove and never had a problem with finding a place to park. The condo was big enough for the 4 of us but might be too small for more than 4 people. The pool was nice and was never busy.

There were broken pictures and fixtures and floor tiles. Tried contacting the manager and never got a response. Im pretty sure the bedding hadn't been washed. It was horrible.

This is a very nice condo. Well stocked, even with an incredible library. Beautiful location, love being on the lagoon and only 3 blocks from the beach. Beds are extra firm, if you like that.

Living on the Water
Love sitting at the table or the sofa or a chair and staring out at the water as you are right on the lagoon... all the appliances are new stainless steel and the kitchen comes supplied with everything you might need. Two good sized bedrooms, with comfortable beds! and there are two bathrooms as well. We prefer the lagoon to the gulf, however, this unit is on the 5th. floor and when you step out your front door you can see the water of the gulf as it's a short walk away and there is a public beach access there as well. We liked it so much that we have already booked it for two months next winter!

We had a very nice month stay. The condo was clean and the kitchen was very will supplied. The view of Little Legion each day was beautiful. I especially enjoyed learning all the pictures(art work) in the condo were painted by the owner of the condo. Thank you for our wonderful vacation.
