Outdoorsy guests will fall in love with this location for so many reasons, yet those who prefer to simply relax indoors will also be spoiled with a spacious layout, four bedrooms, and a sunroom to cozy up in with a good book and cup of tea. Plus, the living area and kitchen will allow everyone to easily mingle as a homecooked dinner is prepared using all of the modern appliances the chef of the group is used to. Don't hesitate on this one, as it won't last long! One of the key benefits of this location is that you will be quite close to the Shanghai Marina by water! It boasts a great restaurant, live music for all tastes, gas, and a lake store. Additionally, the cove is in a no-wake zone with calm water and minimal boat traffic. It's a great place to float and relax! THINGS TO KNOW - Please note there are steep stairs leading down to the water/dock. - There are cornhole boards for the lower deck, two stand-up paddleboards, and a kayak for guest use. - Please note that the internet is not high-speed or reliable for remote work as it is at times affected by the ruralness of the area. If possible, PLEASE refrain from excessive use of the internet. - Private dock with one covered boat slip. There is room to park two additional boats on each side of the dock (uncovered). There is also a slip for a jet ski. - This property is managed by Vacasa Tennessee LLC Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Dock details: Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Too many steps to dock but nice location. Carpet needs cleaned. Some confusion on launching the boat but we got it worked out. overall enjoyed our stay.

Really nice spot to jump off dock and swim. Was told there was no grill by company who rents it out however, there is a gas grill on top deck. That was a nice surprise. I would rate this 5/5 but I feel it needs a hot tub to enjoy in the evenings. We give it a 4.

The area was absolutely beautiful. We were there to attend a wedding and the scenery was an added bonus. The home was exactly as listed. We had more than enough space for our group of 7. Everything was well stocked and we had everything we needed. It was an excellent stay.

The location relative to other points of interest was great. The sheltered cove that the house/dock were located in were also nice. Would rate a 5 star, if not for issues with the trash left over from prior guests.

We had a group that included adults and then 5 kids under the age of 6 during our stay. When we first arrived the property was not cleaned very well with debris on the floors in all the rooms & bathrooms. A number of cups/dishes were wet/dirty upon arrival. There was also a bunch of runoff of mud/rocks on the concrete steps going down to the dock, which is a slight hazard to all. A couple of items were not noted within the listing. There are a number of staircases inside the property that could have resulted in injuries among the young kids, though thankfully we brought our own gates to barricade the children to the main level. The bathrooms were filled with 3 half used rolls of toilet paper with no replacements and it was not stated in the listing that we would have to bring our own. Very tight turns down to the rental, along with a steep driveway. Neither are recommended if you have a boat/trailer behind your car. Rental listing should be updated to include true features of the property and what it requires to get to the property.

The house was really nice and suited us very well. The biggest difficulty was finding out about parking a boat trailer. I called several times because we needed a parking tag for the trailer for valid parking along the road to the house. The property is not suited to pulling a trailer/boat to as is VERY steep. Were told to get the tag at the Shanghai Marina but they only give parking at the Marina which is not close by way of road. Called several times and could not be told how to get a parking tag. Once we got into the house we found the parking tags in the house for our use. It would have been very helpful to know this ahead of time. Also there was no listing of a grill, so I called to ask and was told there was no grill -bummer for a vacation house. There was a grill at the house. It was not listed that we needed to bring our own toilet paper, hand soap, dish washer soap, and dish soap. There were none or very small amounts of these at the house but we certainly needed more. The salt shaker was next to empty and there were cleaning rags soaking in the sink when we got there. This listing was with Vacasa who obviously did not know their house very well, but they were easy to get a hold of and tried to help.

Trash was everywhere by front walkway had to clean up, The Grill was nasty right next to trash had to go back into town to get propane and burn off grill. Carpets need cleaned. Please spray for bugs, as there are tons of ants and spiders and Bees. This could be a first class place, put some money back into it!

The house and location weren't bad but the wall had a leak downstairs that had been there for a while from what we could tell. Nobody had taken trash off in at least a week if not longer as it was piled by the garage. Freezer on basement level had blood stained inside it. All and all it we were still able to enjoy the weekend but definitely room for improvement and probably a new cleaning service

This lake house was a wonderful place to stay. Plenty to do and great view. We went in winter and even without use of the lake and still had fun. Plenty of space and fully equipped for all our needs.
